Quote from: Jesse on May 21, 2025, 12:11:42 PMFox is not on the roster anymore, our two holdovers are Woods and Adams (who I both really like). You're going to see them both, depending on how many snap we give to a NAT and how often we see 4 DL+ sets.

Sorry, you're right, Woods not Fox.  In my mind I never really differentiated them last season.  Laziness on my part.  Now that we've kept one and not the other I'll need to remember.

Watching the PS1 game:

Eli is stinky at LG.  Bad hold because he got plain ol' bulldozed.  The OL let Zach get pummeled 3 snaps in a row.  He doesn't appear to have gained weight, and thus he's having the same problems he always has with big DTs.

Big Stan @LT was getting beaten regularly the long way around!  He just couldn't get over fast enough.  Many snaps, especially the ones where they hit Zach.  That's not good.  Hopefully he hasn't "lost it" already, or uh oh.

Randolph was getting beaten at RT.

More notes to come.  The OL shuffled a lot this game.

Disagree all
Zach Will play well better as season goes as new OL gels

I find your post a little offensive, suggesting someone will be killed isn't right imo and your take on lazy or over confident recruiting is off base imo

OL a work in progress imo, slightly worried but also confident in the mafia to figure it out and hopefully players will learn / step up, will take 6 game likely to become a good unit imo

Is Lofton back?

I don't mind giving Wallace a chance if Mafia thinks it can succeed.  Clearly they want the ratio help.  They can always switch to 3 IMP any time in a future week.

I really hope it works out, especially at pass pro that they said the "new kids" need help mastering.

Then we still don't know what the "desired" game 1 line-up is/was... because Randolph will be stuck at RT until Lofton returns.  Once Lofton is healthy we might be able to see the "real" line.

This is a great chance for Randolph to show he can be a future OT.  However, if he gets "too hot" he may make ARing Lofton a tough choice!

Best case scenario is that Randolph is just too good to take off the field.
