I would like to see them start with the ball at their own 35 yd line vs the opponents/already in field goal range. It looked like both teams just mailed it in in overtime.

I think we will see more teams play for the tie just because the field goal is a given. At least they should have to make a first down if they want the safe points.

I find the OT2 is played extremely gingerly and safely, especially the team that goes 2nd.  MTL basically just did nothing in OT2 because they knew they could escape with a tie.

OT1 is usually entertaining, but the OT2s have been pretty lame this season.  Only if the 1st team gets a TD in OT2 does it get interesting, because then you have 3 down ball.

We've talked about possible solutions before.  So many ideas, but it's tough to know what would make things better.
