It could be a late night tonight. Chance of strong thunderstorms around game time. It looks like the weather will improve around nine o'clock. They should get the game in but I suspect there will be some rain delay. Its too bad because the Bombers are about 1500 seats short of a sell out and a nice evening might have got them a sellout.

hoping it passes us by...I prefer to have a delay at the start to stopping midway through the second quarter and waiting an hour.

They keep pushing it back. Should be fine.

Its going to be a hot one tonight. It was 35 degrees with the humidex at 500pm. Thunderstorm watch in effect in Winnipeg. Hopefully we get through this one uninterrupted.

We are lucky the storm passed by the stadium.  My wife sent me some videos of rain and hail in NK and EK and it looked pretty bad.  Whole bunch of branches on the road, huge puddles.  Stadium got nothing

Unfortunately the weather killed the flyby, even though they announced it was happening on the IGF PA.  Even had the camera on the sky showing nothing.  Oh well.

I wonder if it was going to be F18's, or a Hercky bird.

But we did get the rappellers right in front of our seats!

I studied the forecast hour by hour to be sure I didn't need to bring warm gear for my kid, and decided no gear required... then the storm comes and drops the temp by 10 (it seemed) and the kid is complaining.  Proud of the kid, he sucked it up as I wasn't buying a 3rd Bomber blanket just for 1 hr of cold!  ;D ;D  Moral of the story: even if you're sweating walking to the stadium and climbing all the stairs, bring the sweaters and blankets...
Never go full Rider!
