The Good-O
              -O line
             -Olivera
               Offense
The Bad-Turnovers
            -Jeffcoat hurt again
            -kickoff coverage
The Ugly-Colleros drank George jr's milk shake
             -BLM missing open receivers

Lots to like about this game but there is a few things to clean up specifically the turnovers. Perfect place kicking is a nice change from last season. Solid play from Rasheed Bailey. It looks like he wants to be one of the 5 starting receivers.

George jr's milk shake huh????

The Good- Offence without Lawler is very lethal.
            - Offence passing on first downs to completely mess everyone up
            - There is an insane amount of motion and play action/ option plays in this offence and it will be extremely exciting to watch as the season goes on
            - Defence was amazing considering they were really only responsible for allowing 10 points
            - Houston...we have a problem...amazing to kickoff the season with 2 INTS and a FR and he might only be the 3rd or 4th best DB on the team.
It helps to play along side Nichols possibly the best HB in the enitre CFL
            - I know I can't be the only one that noticed the defence looked like they had an extra edge to their play. Seemed like various different looks and levels of aggression.
-Castillo 8/8 on all his kicks including a 50 yrd FG.

The Bad- Jeffcoat, word across the league is he gets more pressure on QB's than anyone in the league. The bad is he can't seem to stay healthy.
-think Jeffcoat being out at the half might have been partially why Hamilton was a little more successful in the 2nd half.
           - Pigrome goalline plunge needs some work, don't think he has the right size or skill set for the forward plunge yet. Might be better off letting Brady take the plunge behind the goalline/short yardage formation
-Sheahan needs to get punts out quicker, maybe the punt block in the endzone was potentially a poor coaching decision as well. O'shea should have expected pressure with punting into the wind.

The UGLY- Turnovers were directly responsible for 20 Hamilton points. This isn't a team that will turn over over the ball that much.
             - Kickoff coverage was terrible BUT part of that was kicking into the wind, Castillo has never been a guy that has a huge leg for kickoffs.
             - Hamilton was very aggressive all game long and chirping at refs constantly after penalties were thrown.
They had such poor attitudes about everything that I almost thought a Dickenson or Jones was coaching them

Pigrome had no push in his two rushes - good move by the Bombers to use Brown when the game is on the line.  Pigrome needs reps but that wasn't the time.
I'll forgive the first try by Pigrome because 2 yards is a bit much to expect on a sneak. The second attempt (from the 1) was weak - although it has been 'officially' charged to Alden Darby.

Interesting stat:
Best bombers on sneaks when 1 yard or less is needed (minimum 10 attempts)
- Dru Brown 17/17 (100%)
- Dakota Prukop 42/43 (97.7%) *
- Dan Lefevour 39/40 (97.5%) **
- Chris Streveler 91/96 (94.8%)

* Prukop's miss was a 2nd & 1 try - he made it on 3rd down.
** Lefevour's only fail was his first sneak attempt - 39 in a row after that.

In the good category;

when Jeffcoat went out injured...again....I figured oh boy a guy without even a full TC going in, and Haba held his own, kept contain, got some pressure was in on one sack with Willy and got one himself.....I was really impressed with the small sample size from him so far.

Fixed it :D

Lincoln Locomotive

#21
Good....
- Zach Collaros in the first half and then responding later in the game when the Cats started clawing back
- Demski other than his first play fumble, was everywhere and a force
- O-Line protection for Zach....zero sacks
- Brady was brilliant
- Holm and we don't have a problem Houston who had 2 picks and a FR
- Bombers discipline with few penalties
- All our receivers made plays
- Sergio "no worries" Castillo was perfect and he is a winner
- crowd noise making it hell for BLM
- Haba's 3rd down sack ending any comeback hopes for the Cats
- winning the home opener

Bad...

- going from a 28 point lead to an 8 point lead in minutes?
- Pigrome's failed short yardage play stuffed twice  near the goal line....hmm?
- our kick off coverage was horrendous leaving BLM with a short field too often (missing Miller big time)
- fumble on our first play from scrimmage
- BLM overthrowing several wide open receivers who likely would have scored had he hit them
- our punting was erratic

Ugly...

- Hamilton's poor discipline being called 4 times for Unsportsmanlike conduct.....horrendous
- 3 turnovers resulting directly to 20 points for the Cats and in minutes
- #94 from Hamilton and his bellyflop on a downed Bomber lineman
- our special teams in general

The best halftime show I've seen in a long time....   OAKES was awesome, my grandsons kept asking me how he did that magic act

DM83

The good

The score flattered the Cats
Bombers. First half
Houston can stay on team, made a couple great plays
Our# 31 has great coverage
D-line had Bo running for his life.
Zac and the o put on a clinic in the first half
Leggio making all his kicks.lol! Now we have a real kicker and not that kid behind your house who wants to be. Is anyone going to remember Leggio?

The Bad

Four plays that went. Against us, and resulted in three Hamilton scores. These were in my opinion ?flukes?
At the game I did nit even worry about them.

Ugly
Initial fumbled. Handoff who was the linemen the whiffed.
Zac?s fumble.
Our kick off return into a Hamilton guys hands.
Hamilton trying to pass downfield.  Bo has no arm. What did he have 8 completions.
Second half for the Bombers had to be hard to play when  up by almost 30 points.
