Out of all 3 GC's, I do believe Jeffcoat was the only Bomber that limped off the field and stayed out.

That's a big thing.  Bombers don't get injured in GCs and they don't quit.  Strevie played with a completely mangled broken ankle.

I hope the injury to Jeffcoat was serious enough to warrant bailing.

It's the Bombers that lay the wood on the other team and make them all cry off to the bench to get some hot cocoa and aspirin.

Jeffcoat was probably more effective than Willie in 2022.  Maybe in 2021 too.  And y'all are right: Jeffcoat makes Willie better.  So in that sense, how can you not re-sign him?  But bailing on the GC and missing half the year means he doesn't get a raise.  Maybe we can even lowball him.  However, we must realize other teams will snap him up instantly at last year's price... probably TOR, hahaha.  So you must re-sign him.

Re-evaluate in 2023-2024 FA.

I don't recall if this has been discussed already but they didn't even dress Adams for the G.C., thus when Jeffcoat went down they had to use DT's in his place. Huge fail for roster usage.

This was on ongoing roster management issue the whole season.

We did not dress enough DE's to rotate.

Adams was a game time decision who couldn't go.  They dressed Ricky Walker instead.

It wasn't horrid roster mgmt, its just the result of losing Kongbo to the NFL and Hansen to injury.  Fewer injury replacement options.

If we manage to get Kongbo back next year, WJ5, JJ94, TH3 and Kongbo would return to being the leagues best rotational/ratio friendly DE group...

I think WJ5 and JJ94 missed Kongbo.. and Hansen during the start of the season...

Adams did have some flashes, and if Kongbo is a no go, then he seems to slot in well, except for his passport.
