Quote from: Horseman on June 13, 2025, 08:56:49 PMSure didn't look like a severe injury, he stayed in for the next play, but you could see him flexing his right hand in the huddle. I would say a minor tweak in the shoulder, kept out for precaution. I would bet he is good to go on Saturday.
I hope your right but I think be out a few games, guessing!

Our running game didn't suffer at all with BO out and Peterson in. Whatever BO's injury is, get him 100% healthy and let Peterson run the rock in the meantime and show us more of what he can do. Love what I saw yesterday, that explosive big TD run was a killer!!

He fell on his chest smack flat into the ground with a defender pushing him down and landing on him.

I'll hit up the computer PVR tricks to see what I can see...

a) Teams now have film on unknown Peterson.  He'll have a harder outing next time.

b) Peterson benefited from Strev being a legit run threat.  All the not-so-great Strev runs made BC have to respect that we're going to run Strev with wild abandon.  With Zach in there is zero QB run threat.

If it was me, if Brady is IR, I would totally activate Cooley to also see what he's got and give BC yet another feisty RB with no film to face.  If Neuf is NOT a "GTD" next week, then we could possibly put Wallace at LG if that was the "desired" OL plan... Wallace may have been not-at-LG because we needed a starter if Neuf was out.

It didn't help that Brady didn't have any clue that tackler from behind was coming.  He was concerned with the guy over his left shoulder.  Old Man Peters did an amazing job to get after it after he shed his block.

Not knowing the hit was coming, and it being a pseudo-horsecollar (grabbing over the shoulder to the front numbers to drag down), meant BO20 was probably vulnerable.  If he knew it was coming he may have taken a step OOB.

He was on the field for the Demski TD after his own long play on the sideline. It did appear that he was taken down hard and his head might had struck the turf.

So nothing official and even a concussion protocol could keep him out of another game. IIRC I saw him on the sideline later and he seemed in good spirits. I noted that he didn't seem to be having an issue with his right shoulder which had been in consideration as a possible injury.

He probably gets a lighter practice schedule this week. However I honestly believe he will play.

The daily practice IR reports are close to meaningless. We probably see him listed as DNP with upper body injury. I'd say it's day to day assessment until he's listed as " out ".

You certainly nailed that synopsis.
