Former almost BlueBomber Pacman Jones was arrested again for public intoxication, causing a disturbance and assaulting a police officer. The talented but troubled defensive back has been arrested on a few other occasions. Jones was set to join the Bombers during the Mike Kelly era but a video came out with him clearly hammered and the Bombers backed away from signing him.

Man, this is irrelevant to the Bombers but that would have been so much fun. He had a full career with the Bengals after that "almost signing".

Disagree that it would have been fun, sounds like a train wreck to me and this organization and league is better than that

Were you around in 2009? Calling the Bombers a trainwreck would have been kind.

Doesn't mean you are right.  We even back then were better than this and still are.  You suggested it would have been fun, which I 100% disagree with.  This team, league and player are role models.  It's much more important to have standards than to be "fun".

Yes STH back then.

Like I said in my first post, Pac-Man had a full 8 or 9 year career with the Cincinnati Bengals after this point, never getting in any more trouble. He adopted and raised a teammate's children after they died (one of which is about to be a top draft pick in the NFL).

I'm sorry he's getting into some trouble again in his retirement, but he would have absolutely crushed on a CFL field and would have been the best part of that season (I doubt he would have returned for a second season).

Not here to debate the player, here to say that I'm happy we walked away.  Class matters.

Not here to debate the player that this thread is about and you clearly know nothing about.

Class matters during the 2009 season that had Mike Kelly yelling at reporters after every game.

Sure, whatever.

Yes class matters and always will for this organization.  A bad period but doubling down to have a player with a bad past and a terrible coach would have made it worse and happy management seen the light during that dark period.

The issues are

- Yes, Pacman apparently was arrested again,
- He is no longer a Blue Bomber,
- What he does in future is, for the record, news but it no longer reflects on the Blue Bombers,
- Reporting news here is not a rule breaker.
- Denigrating anyone doesn't help them or discussions on the forum.
- Be guided accordingly,
