Time Zone Set Up

Not sure where to post this. How the heck do you change the Time Zone so it's set for local time?  I found where to see the different TZ's but it seemed to have a million I've never heard of, and didn't have any Canadian ones?

Also how do I set up my account so when I click on a thread it automatically takes me to new posts, so I don't have to scroll through everything each time I click on a thread?

The time zone pulldown menu in the Look and Layout section has all available time zones. Local time is near the bottom of the list:  [UTC-5:00] - Central Time (CDT/CST)



Just make sure to hit the Change Profile button to save your selection.

For the second part, if you want to immediately go to the most recent post of a thread, simply click on the timestamp link in the last post column of the sub-forum page (highlighted below):

If you want to see just the "new since I last read that thread" posts (which is probably what most people want), click the orange/brown(?) NEW button to the left of the thread title.  You have to be logged in for the NEW buttons to appear.
