Best in the West!

We have a stranglehold on the West. BC is closest but we have the tie-breaker, so they need to find +2 in the final stretch. SSK also needs to find +2 to top us, because of their tie.

Being worst in the league for 4 straight weeks to start the season seems like a million years ago. Kudos to the team for the resilience and spirit.

Fun fact: the current West standings have the teams with this many wins:

8 WPG
7 BC
6 SSK
5 EDM
4 CGY

That's a bit odd, if you're into numerology.

Back in July I had still fully expected to sneak into the playoffs, but had given up all hope of a WF at home.
That is such a huge advantage for us if we can hang on!
