Quote from: Sir Blue and Gold on August 17, 2024, 01:54:29 AMReally odd signing to begin with.

It was exactly what was expected.

Guy wanted a try out. We gave it to him. He couldn't do what he thought/hoped he could do. End of experiment.

Never needed any convoluted explanation.

I get it. We just don't often bring in guys mid season who have been out of the game two years and are at the age he is. No problem with it. Just odd.

It's actually not out of character at all. They're just so inconsequential they don't come to mind.

I must have forgotten the rest of the 33 year old DBs we've brought in who have been retired for two years?

Last year it was the receiver who sat on the PR. Already forgot his name. Long time Rider.

At the time we were swimming in injuries, long shot but at the time worth a sniff, father time and injuries closed the book on this one

Waffler

He was always insurance, we just didn't need to cash the policy. Crazy as it seems I don't think he's washed up, he looked good in person. Didn't get many reps though.

We only have the best secondary in the league right now. Makes sense.

Ran out of room on the PR with Adams and Wheatfall being added this week.

Grymes might catch on somewhere due to all the injuries across the league.

Good news for Grymes that he showed well. Maybe he's still got some left in the tank.
