Yah no big surprise, Prukop couldn't even complete an open pass without skipping it off the turf against the Stamps in their first pre-season game, he looked worse than a first year rookie.  Wonder why the guy never advances his skill level?

I really hope the Bombers don't pick up Prukop. QB3 as a development spot is the way to go.

We won't

Yeah, this possibility was quashed when we signed Strev, who is: a) primary backup, b) short yardage QB, c) special package QB.

#3 will be development only. We are hoping we find the next Dru Brown.
#Ride?

Sir Blue and Gold

Prukop is good in the short yardage role but if BC is looking for an actual developmental or backup QB then it's really odd they signed him in the first place.

Ya, that's really messed up.  They didn't see him in his PS and garbage-season starts in WPG??  Dude is only one notch above Brohm.

But he is great SY, might be the league-best right now.  For Prukop's sake I hope BC gave him a signing bonus!  :D

We will if Strevie gets injured!

So who is supposed to be BC's star RB?  Didn't they sign a big name?

Guess they found a NAT to back their starter?  Hard to waste a DI on Mizzell.

Agree regarding Strev but if any club has their sneak guy go down, he will be their 1st call.  I bet we see him back in the league this year.  We will have to see if we used our #3 qb for the sneak sometimes.  I would like to see that a little to save Strev from some wear on the easy 3rd and 1s.

BC suffered greatly in 2023 using Dom Davis as SY.  He failed waaaay too often.  I think it cost them a couple of games.

Did BC not learn anything?  Who is their SY guy this year?  I bet they'll suck again.

Prukop will probably get picked up quickly.

Some guy named Stanback???

Right... forgot.  Wonder why they even thought they'd DI Mizzell.  So who is going to be Stanback's backup?  Stanback is getting on in years and may not last a season.

Will BC finally think about a run game this season?  I'm trying to think back to the OTT GC year as to whether they had a run game, but I'm drawing a blank.  FWIR their D won that game.

Has stanback been watching bc s offense the last couple of seasons?? Not exactly built on the run game. Maybe he sees this as a way to be paid starters bucks but prolong his career as they only run the ball a half dozen times a gsme

None of our #3 QB hopefuls look hopeful against the Stamps....not much there to get excited about....
