'23 GC gear on blowout

As I seem to do every year this time of year... just wanted to mention that the previous year's GC gear is on blow out sale at the TiCats store.

If you went, or even if you didn't, you may want some memoribilia.  (But if you're still bitter & depressed, skip this post!)  Lots of items left, but unfortunately very few in sizes that will fit most guys.  There are a few in 2XL and weird sizes.

But if you have a kid or youth in your life, there's tons of options: Youth-specific items or adult items in small/medium which will fit many 9-16's.

If you're like me, you always need the lanyard/pennant.  I'm bummed out there are no pins (left?) though.  I guess I should have acted sooner.

Anyhow, almost everything in the Grey Cup area is on BOGO, so you get the half-off price shown PLUS an additional (up to) 50% off via BOGO.  That makes it cheaper than the '22 SSK stuff ever was.  But be careful, the BOGO makes the cheapest stuff free first, meaning if you mix expensive stuff and lanyards, you'll get the cheap lanyards free, not matching expensive stuff.

My only complaint is, unlike SSK, shipping is not free.  But it's "cost" and not too bad if you're getting a pile.

I know of at least 3 forum members who picked up the clearance SSK gear last year... I'm sure some want some of the '23 gear.  And hey, we're (mostly) all Winnipeggers, and what true Pegger can turn down 75% off?!?!

My kids love this stuff to remember the GC and show the neighborhood they are into CFL.  Pretty cheap way to brighten their day.  And dad always gets some too...

I'm skipping the jersey this time, though.  It's not nearly as slick as the '22 jerseys, and less obvious it's GC gear rather than home-team gear.  Not to mention all the useful sizes are already gone

Awesome!  Some are about the same as when I posted (75% off) but some are now like 80-90% off, and that just can't be beat.  Of course, it's probably only XXS and 4XL that are in stock but those can be useful sometimes too... getting adult S/XS for older kids, etc.

Looks like I'll have to do another order...

I got my items a couple/few weeks ago and they were all very nice.  The lanyard/ticket was nice, as is the pennant.  The cheapest tee was somewhat low quality material, but good for the kids.  The more expensive tops were very nice quality, as was the toque.

At the current price I may even eye up the jersey... This must be the last hurrah so they can have all of it out of the store before game 1.

Yeah, I bought a helmet back in November as they normally sell out fast.

I'm surprised they still have some kicking around.

Not much left.  But for you big guys out there there's still 2x, 3x and 4x of a very high quality fabric New Era tee that has nothing but the "110" on it -- virtually no hint of HAM at all (it's stock GC grey).  I got one earlier even though I'm definitely not 2X, but it makes a nice 'round the house tee.

Also, chains, hats, mini helmets -- still left, most have no or little hint of HAM colors.  I'm a sucker for blowouts so I bought another batch of stuff, mostly for the kids.
