One of the greatest female curlers is retiring. After this season JJ will no longer compete in the women's events. However, she is not done curling. JJ and her husband Brent Laing are the defending Canadian mixed champions. JJ now 49, and Brent have to young daughter and she feels it's the right time to step back from the women's game and spend more time with her daughters.

Jones and teams have played in, 6 World Championships, 18 Canadian Championships, 2 Olympic games, 1 world mixed.

Jones skipped teams have won, Worlds: 2 gold, 2 silver, 1 bronze. Canadian, 4 gold, 2 silver, 3 bronze. Olympics 1 gold, Canadian Mixed, 1 gold, 1 bronze. She also has won the Manitoba Women's Curling Championship a record 9 times. Also, another 17 victory's on the world curling tour.

Thank you, JJ.

Could see it coming but sad to see her go.  She was one of the best in the world.  Not many curlers can make that claim.

Dang, she was so close..

Very emotional moment when her daughters went over the boards to hug her.

Epic career.

Two excellent games in back to back nights. Manitoba battles hard but, RH and team have been the best team in curling this year, and pulled another big win.
