Blue Bombers Transactions - October 17, 2023

WINNIPEG, MB., October 17, 2023 - The Winnipeg Blue Bombers today announce the following transactions:

Added to practice roster:

National defensive back Noah Hallett (6-0, 190, McMaster)
"You can't let praise or criticism get to you. It's a weakness to get caught up in either one." - John Wooden

Noah Hallett has been hanging around Winnipeg all season. Once in awhile I see him on the Bomber sidelines during games. So this mite be a good sign that he is finally healthy. Happy for Noah.

He's the younger one, right?

Yes. He also a little smaller than Nick.

Pete

he might also be the more talented, if hes healthy and gets into game shape

Kick coverage units could use a healthy Noah.

Ya, but who comes out then?  Exume?  Not sure I like that trade-off.  Cadwall has earned his spot.  Briggs isn't going anywhere.  I guess you could have Noah do ST instead of JA27.  Besides ST duty, you also have the problem of who you take off to just get him on the AR.

Ahh... Kelly.  Maybe bench Kelly.  But I agree with a comment on the other thread: he likely won't make the roster this season unless it's for the one garbage-season game.  I guess we're more setting things up for next season.  We may lose or retire a NAT in FA.
Never go full Rider!
