The league is halfway through the All Star fan vote and it's practically all Bombers!

Surprised about Alford over Leake but that clearly speaks to an embarrassing lack of fans in and around the GTA.

Not surprised to see so many Bombers, though. ;D

Bogus.  Even the sask fans are saying cut Alford.  He's done nothing all year, and he's gone from a speedster to a plodder.

What in the world are you talking about? A plodder? Alford is second in kick returns and third in kickoff returns in the league.

Watched all the SSK games?  Compare the dude to last year.  He plods now.  Literally no speed, except maybe when he upped his game for the LDC.  He used to look like Grant.

If Alford has good stats, it's because he hasn't been injured for most of the season, compared to the good returners like Grant.  And the KO yards are due to opponents scoring TDs on SSK so many times.  Seriously, Alford is a shadow of his MO.S.T. self.  Now, it could be he has some nagging injury, maybe even likely.  Maybe he'll be better next year.  Who knows.

It is a fact that many Saskfans are saying he doesn't deserve their MO.S.T. nod, and many want him cut (not enough performance for the very high cost).

Speaking of which, it may be hard to justify big$$ Grant if he spent 85% of the season in the tub... hopefully he'll make up for it with a bunch of TDs in the post-season.  The Mafia will look at cost vs production in the off-season for sure.

Waffler

He deserves danger pay for running into the line at 157 pounds. I don't blame him for getting hurt. I can still hear Buck saying "it's football"... Dumb play then and dumb play now.

Returners never earn big bucks unless they also play receiver, max. pay tops out at about $125k.
