Hamilton vs Edmonton GDT

God himself couldn?t turn the elks around at this point. Staying with Jones continues this mess, canning Jones continues this mess. This league always has been and always will be a Qb driven league.  It?s very simple-teams with good QBs do well, teams with bad ones don?t. Edmonton?s Qbs are horrible. Same why Calgary, Hamilton and Ottawa struggle and will continue to until they address the number 1 issues.

If I was GM of any of these struggling teams, I trade for Dane Evans, who is clearly better than anything Edmonton is suiting up. Why they haven?t done this sooner is what I?d be asking Jones on his exit interview

Why would BC trade Evans?  It would be like us trading Brown.  Why?  Especially to a rival.

I dunno, how about geno Lewis and corny for Evans trade?? Lions get leagues best receiver and a backup Qb for Evans. I d make that trade if I was bc, their already good receiving Corp goes to another level with Lewis in the lineup

Because BC has no SMS left to pay Eugene.  Now, if EDM were to offer Eugene + Corny AND agree to pay their salaries for the rest of the season, then you take that trade.

You're likely taking on 1/2 million dollars or more of cap with that trade if you're BC, not sure how they make that work. Plus if Adams is inured, Evans likely gives you a punchers chance of competing, not so much with Corny. If Jones was high on Evans, he could have had him for very little in the off season, although his perspective may have changed with the play of Cornelius.
