Pretty balanced in terms of time off an bye weeks.

But very Western dominated. We play all the West teams 3 times each but only play TO and OTT once. You can tell they're trying to balance the records more this year.

Saw it mentioned somewhere that we only have two home games after the Banjo Bowl (Sept 29 - TOR, Oct 21 - EDM). Not saying that's good or bad, just another "schedule quirk".

Thursday games are the worst.  The three thursday games in a row really grinds my gears

Yup management knows the lake crowd is a factor and always will be.  I'll be living at the lake soon so gotta come in for the games but I don't care.  I just like big crowds.

I always work around Bomber games. They come first the lake second. BUT ... It's nice when I have Friday free to go early.

Geez! No chance at revenge until Week 17? That sucks. Unfinished business may have to wait until the Grey Cup game.  ;-)

Ya, the games when it gets cold-ish (Oct) always lose 2-4k attendees.  Excluding the post-season, of course!  Looking forward to yet another cold west final @IGF

Byes in week 8 & 16 & 19 should be pretty good.  The first too mean we play 7 games in a row, then break.  The week 19 bye can help with "heal up for post-season" mode.  And we've had that very-late bye a few seasons in a row.

We play 6 games vs East, 12 games vs West.  I assume all the other West teams are getting similar treatment?  Hmm?

It's 3 home East games vs 6 home West games.

The interesting part is the West teams being 3 each as Jesse says, but even more interesting is how it breaks in terms of who we get more home vs away:

We have 2 away games vs: SSK, CGY
We have 2 home games vs: BC, EDM

So it's a wash, as I'm guessing SSK and EDM will still be struggling while BC and CGY will be vying for top spot with us.  Well, unless Rourke is gone, then BC gets to vie with SSK/EDM for worst in the West.

If SSK comes on strong in 2023, and CGY is doing well and Rourke is gone, then the above sucks because our "home advantage" games will be against the weak teams (where we don't need it) and the harder away games must be played in very hostile and difficult-to-win-in stadiums.

I like that the TOR game is @IGF.  Ok that it's late in the season: we can make a statement before the post-season
