Coacing cap is bad for the CFL.  Horrible, in fact.  Makes Jones?lapo wear too many hats and fail, makes SSK keep coaches/GM that fail, prevents WPG from rewarding and extending coaches long term to big contracts.  Not a great situation.

Head office is not like roster.  You can't juggle contracts.  Contracts are guaranteed.  No "6 game IR" you can put a coach with brain cramps on.

Cap makes zero sense.

I disagree. The coaching cap is done so the players cap can be loosened. If all the money is going to coaches, it's no wonder players are being underpaid in the CFL.

I'd take Masoli over Bo next season.

Masoli would not want to spend another year on IR. What will give him the confidence that your OL can protect him?
But I guess if you offer him big $$$ he will come.

I'd take Masoli over Bo next season.

Masoli is under contract for 2023 (https://www.ottawaredblacks.com/2022/02/07/masoli-ottawa-redblacks-ink-veteran-quarterback/) and I can't see the Redblacks getting rid of him.

And as if he'd ever want to play for the team that employed the jerkwad who ended his 2022 season.
