Dickenson's gameplan and his players' discipline and execution were abysmal yesterday.

The better team won but that isn't really saying much.

Calgary went in with the wrong game plan. They should have established the run early. They also made a couple bad play decision which cost them points and field position. They didn't play discipline football. The offside on third down was a major mistake. They also left Jake in too long.
Stamps game plan looked good early on in the first quarter but only came away with FGs.   Then they didn't adjust their plan and Rourke was scoring majors.   I also agree that BLM should have been inserted earlier however Dickenson rode his #1 guy until it was too late.    BLM did spark them, however what surprised me was Rourke masterfully marching down the field and answering with another TD drive.    I knew Calgary was done after that and there just wasn't enough time for BLM to mount a comeback.    He should have started the 2nd half and Dickie once again made some questionable decisions in a big game.
Rourke really jacked the entire BC team up and they will come in here with a nothing to lose attitude.....we need to be very very ready for the biggest game of our season.

A lot of un-Dickensonian calls made yesterday, including not bringing Bo in at the Half.

The anti-BO sentiment has to run pretty deep to put the game on the line like that.  Bo seems to have moved on already... and Maier really seemed to drop the ball in the spotlight, something Bo was famous for *not* doing...
Unabashed positron.  Blue koolaid in my fridge.  I wear my blue sunglasses at night.  Homer, d'oh.

Quite unbelievable how bad the Stamps game plan turned out to be, especially their reluctance to adjust when it failed to work, they really outsmarted themselves.  Mills only had 2 carries for 16 yards, this loss can be laid at the feet of Dickie #1, the Stamps had a good chance to win playing simple football.

Credit the Lions they won in the trenches and on the score board, they protected Rourke decently and gave him enough time to find his receivers when needed, they also got after Maier effectively causing him all sorts of trouble.  By the time BLM came in their D was laying back a bit because they knew he was going downfield in a hurry.  The WSF is going to be a dandy game, all 3 teams have to do their jobs if the Bombers expect the W.

Team can't afford to go to sleep on the Lions at any time. They are capable of winning and making big plays. IMO we're the better team and have the home town and rest to our advantage. Come out with foot on the pedal and take no prisoners.

Lions are sounding a little arrogant at the moment.

Hopefully, it's the same arrogance as we saw from them back in July prior to their serving of humble pie. ;D

That's pretty average for a playoff game, unless one team is really dominant and can keep their QB clean, the big boys along the D-line are going to make plays too.  I'm guessing Collaros gets sacked or takes hits 4-5 times min.

Is there data to back up that claim?

The Lions' O-line was pretty lousy yesterday. And that was within the warm confines of their own stadium. Next Sunday is a completely different animal.

I SURE HOPE NOT !! Rourke was sacked 5 times, and that's not counting the hits he took after the ball was gone. I certainly do NOT expect Zach to get hit that many times !

No data, but it's not unusual for Zach to get hit that many times in any game, they're not usually sacks because the ball is already gone, but he still takes the punishment regardless.  He's more of a gambler than Nichols and he's looking for deeper throws, so it's almost impossible for the O-line to keep him clean.  He's also built like a brick ****house, so the only part I worry about is his head.
