Curious as to other Bomber fans thoughts on this.
I am not a big fan of doing the white out as I see this as a Jet's playoff deal and promotion.
Bombers are Bombers and Jets are Jets.
I proudly yell Blue during the anthem and will be wearing my Blue jersey.
Keep the stadium Blue and Gold.

Don't really like it but if it moves away jerseys than I guess it's mission accomplished. No big deal but I like blue at home. Our home colours just look so good.

Good for the Bombers trying to get some excitement going.Nothing wrong with borrowing a successful program from another team. "True North" is yelled at the Stadium as well.

I don't think you will see a high percentage of white in the stands. I thinking less then 50% will wear white.

I dislike white.  It's not flattering on a 65 year old fatboy.  at least in dark colors you can blend into the background and evening hue! LoL

I will suggest Black and Blue( Batman)

True North yell has no place at the Bomber games IMHO.

We've beat Hamilton in 2 Grey Cups wearing white. Maybe that has something to do with it.
I WILL be wearing my white jersey this Friday !

I prefer the home blues, but have no issues switching to white for a game for the fun of it.

Great idea. Now I can wear my Nichols #15 white jersey. If Deatrick Nichols added a 5 his number 1 my white jersey would once again be roster current.

a) I don?t love white at home games but would participate if it was a big annual tradition kind of thing

b) The complete lack of any advertising/promotion for this event will keep people from wearing white, so I?m still gonna rock my blue.

I got an email about it - I assume it went to all season ticket members? That seems like decent promotion to me.

They announced it at the last game, and for once it was actually audible.  I think most regulars got the message.

As an idea; I don't like it either, unless the idea is to match our team wearing their away jersey??  Don't they need permission from HAM to do this, though?  What if HAM wants to insist on wearing their whites even if we want to?  Can't have both teams in white.

But if the team is wearing their "aways" and we all have white, I could see it messing with HAM's head.  They already have head problems.  Any little extra nudge will mess them up more.

I much prefer the idea of a "gold out".  Then again, besides Member, not many people have a wardrobe that includes gold.

If I get there early enough, I might see if I can find a white jersey for my kid at the store.  Myself, I guess I'll just wear a white shirt and leave the jersey at home... or haul it there and put it on at halftime.

Hey, they should have a game-day promo of a big discount off away jerseys!  Those don't sell well anyhow.

Word.  Those pink turnip things in the shawarma make stains that are impossible to get out.  Home jersey == no worry.

They sent emails, posted on Twitter and Facebook, taken out radio ads,  internet ads, Wade MIller spoke about it on CJOB. They are getting the word out.

Instead of thunder sticks this game. Should have given away white towels or pompoms.

Princess Auto is holding a Tailgate on the Plaza for this game beginning at 5:30 pm.

There will be $5.00 beer, $3.50 hot dogs and $3.50 Fountain drinks.

White thundersticks will be handed out to the first 20,000 fans.

has anyone try the 3.50 hot dog. Are they the same as ones they give away at fan fest or is it more of a Mr Tube steak style?

Well if the 350 hotdogs this year are the same as the 350 hotdogs from last season (and why wouldn?t they be), I can tell you they are the same as the free ones you got a fan fest. Not at all a Mr. tube steak. But for no extra charge they will squish it real tight for you so it?s more like a hot dog burrito.
