The new Jersey launch, scheduled to take place April 14, 2022 has been postponed due to the weather forecast for that date.

A new date will be announced soon.

Third Jersey Launch now scheduled for April 28th at IGF a6 6:15 pm.  Doors open at 6:00 pm.

Blue Bomber players will be in attendance.

I hope they have a few to sell, right after they unveil.

We've done lots of retro in the past, a modern look might be cool too.

I think there's a better than 50/50 chance a hate it at first but it will grow on me if kept around long enough.

Where can it be seen?  No photos here, and can't find it on the Bomber site.

From the pics I've seen on social media, my first assessment is 7.5 out of 10. Will wait until I see them in person before my final assessment.

If that's it, it looks pretty good.  If you think it looks "junior" I think that's just because it looks a bit retro, like 1981-style (not 1981 BB: 1981 in general).

I like it.  I think it'll grow on me, too.  I like the numbers on the arms.  Hate it when jerseys don't have arm numbers.  I like the big huge W too.

Is the idea that these will be used for a couple of games, and sold in the store?

Somewhat off-topic: my oldest kid needs a new jersey, finally outgrew his first one (which will now go to the little sister).  Does anyone know if any stores in town still have the semi-official jerseys for kids?  I think we originally got it at sportchek.  I'd prefer to get one with player/number $40-$70 vs the official BB store ones ($80 no name/number).

The Blue Bombers will wear the new alternate jerseys on two occasions this year, both home games - August 11th vs. the Montreal Alouettes and the annual Banjo Bowl against the Saskatchewan Roughriders on September 10th.

They're alright. Something different but I won't be getting one.

At least the colour scheme is right this time.

I wish they didn't do the large W on the front, if these just had big numbers on the front they'd be a 10/10.  But I love the fact that the two stripes represent the back to back Grey Cups.  Maybe Adidas will be our jersey supplier next year so we can move to the 3 stripes.

They look like a cross between the old NFL color rush jerseys and a hockey jersey with the big logo on the chest. Don't really like them personally but hope others do and they sell well!

Definitely the colour rush vibe... nothing at all wrong with that.  A third jersey needs to be different and exciting, and I think they captured that...

I have no problems with the color or these Jersey's. The very large W, not so much. And then the big patch of advertisement, just kills the Jersey. I will be picking this Jersey up for the kids, but minus the advertisement.

I need reading  glasses.  DOLLAR store variety for me.....but.....They are so retro, they pre-date Egypt.

Now that you mention it, I thought the fit seemed off.  Are they really tighter than normal??  I understand playing with colors and designs, but who messes with fit of an age-old jersey?

Hadn't even noticed the helmets (on the floor in my pic).  Ya, those are amazing!  A racing stripe!  Those will look nice in-game.

On second thought, they are soooo boring. Isn't a third jersey designed. To make us fans want to buy one.? It's the same old thing.

But if that's all I have to complain about! Woo Hoo!

One Color uniforms are wrong. I mean just get the blue man group and wear a body stocking.msorry I hate that also.

The Bombers off the field are all wrong.
They still go cheap, provide less value for the dollar, and reduce quality. I have the lounge seats.  I guess due to Covid they stopped in seat service. In lounge is expensive, they cut out the post game snacks, and provide bags of popcorn. All of that for$150.00 a game.

It's actually better to stay at Boston Pizza and watch the game there.
And I love attending the atmosphere at the stadium, but to be honest....it's not worth it.

But I still got my seasons .  Seat mates are fun

Camo jerseys were the worst.  I liked the all gold.  These ones are just a step below the camo jerseys.  Something about the logo on the front doesn?t work for me.

Y'all hate on the oversize W on the jersey front??  I like the big W!!  The only iffy bits for me are the all-blue and tight fit.  But I might like the blue better if I see it in real life.  And the fit is something they can fix: just give each guy the next size up  ;D

The thing the camo jerseys and these new thirds have in common is they lack gold.

Helmet looks good though the same the current only bigger stripe.

Maybe this is a different/new blue shade?  Looking at Lincoln's pics, it would appear to be a lighter / less-rich blue than the current normal jersey?  Or is it just me?  The article has Wade saying something about "moving away from royal blue"?  Huh?  I thought our current color was royal blue?  Confused
