;D
Should have an all of the above option
I picked OL. There are other problems but a team can't function without a reasonable OL.
In the last game pressure on Brown caused a bunch of turnovers. We were winning TOP but self destructed beyond the big plays given up defensively.
An example might have been, would we have gotten another 1st down before kicking the missed FG? That was a 10 point swing on that play alone. Obviously there is no proof that would have changed anything. It's just an example about how 2 or 3 plays change the outcome of a game. Whether a team plays well or badly that is still true.

All of the above
All but run D. QB play would benefit greatly from an Oline and an OC that could count to 10, so it may be slightly less of an issue than the other 2. Pass D is putrid, but again part of that is symptomatic of JYs social distancing coverage schemes.
Ok.
It's obvious that the Bombers are living in a fantasy world.
The OC was a last resort. Riley is coming back for an induction. Let's keep him. His DBs coverage was unfair to offenses.
Secondly, Zac is pretty much done. I mean who not afraid for him? OK , so move him upstairs and make him th e offensive coordinator. On the radio last night Brady had to really bite his lip when asked about the offence.
Third, the admin had somehow anointed, Canadian receivers like Copp, the tall guy, the kid from I of M amd the other guy from Asak as starters. They are the least impressive receivers the Bombers have ever had. By that answer the question, who can they beat? And secondly if I am any opponents. Defensive coordinator, who in man would you be afraid to cover? I love Demski, pokey is most teams # 3 and
that's it.
On CJOB,Srevelor was on the morning show! As a guest host. He was so sharp at giving examples of play calling. Again even as a game manager, with one leg he is or would be better at playing in a game manager style. The Bombers were doing that, but went for an intermediate style game. Which if you have time that an offensive offensive line is supposed to give, then that is traditionally a way to go. But as a previous poster said, it's a wonder Brown wasn't killed..
As noted, the offensive line, needs an over haul. Neuf and Stan, it's time. Getting trucked and whiffing is the sign. Hang 'em up boys. Loved you guys. But come on up to the Pinnacle lounge, or the players lounge.
Yes, dm83, the obsession with the medium pass game for dru really stands out. It's like they think that's all we can do. But they really push it and now teams drop the lbs to get the easy picks and batdowns.
And yet we keep pushing it.
The scary part is, maybe Condell and dru are right...
I'm with the all of the above camp.
It's all bad.
Let's all remember, maybe Calgary is better than their record, but they're still not nearly as good as the top 3 teams. If we aspire to be even a middling team we should have beaten them in our barn.
The fact we lost embarrassingly means we're a dumpster fire like OTT. We had our faint hope of a dru savior, but now even that hope is gone and we are left with nothing.
Wow techno stay away from the cliff. Maybe Wade needs to drop you a gift next game lol.
I don't think the OL is an issue, why is everyone voting for that???? Lol
Just joking, April's fools in July lol.
Poll should have read, is the OL our biggest issue or are we a tire fire lol.
I do agree with the 4 about our pass D, thanks for the votes all. This one was very telling. Will do all of the above option next time, never thought of that. Should have remember that one from school and multiple choice.
To me the biggest issue is in the coaching. Most games the team hasnt been ready to go from the opening kickoff. Last game was a prime example of this as was the Ottawa game
The level of execution has been very inconsistent as if not properly prepared as is the lack of communication
As has the intensity, this is also on the players but the coaches need to set the tone
O'Sheas "The players will figure it out" just doesn't cut it anymore
Finally the decisions to play/keep players just cause they are vets is also an issue created by both the coaches and gm

I said that earlier this week, Calgary is better than their record suggests. Their offense is top level and getting Hutchins back, their DL is top level as well. Sadly, we are a bottom third of the league team right now.
Coaching has been a big disappointment....top to bottom...Keeping Bryant for 26' was a big error....he's toast....I never thought much of the Condell hiring....he never excelled wherever he went and some of the moves Younger has made are very questionable...We are sharing the basement with Ottawa soon if we aren't there already....Bomber management has some serious decisions to be made soon or this season will be a write off

The team hasn't fallen that far but they may have switched places with the Huff led Stamps team that operated 2019-2024, not bottom of the barrel but on a downturn struggling to climb much above .500 after nearly a decade of success. The Stamps are now on the rise and should comfortably make the playoffs, whereas the Bombers will be lucky if they qualify.
I guess it's a natural cycle, after a period of success a team will cling fiercely to the methods that achieved that success and reject changing the ingredients or the formula. The Stamps had to purge themselves of Huff to get over their hump and the Bombers may have to do the same if O'Shea can't willingly adapt to change.

Don't forget the year they got BC's two top draft picks for cap violation. How nice would that be?
You say maybe MOS might have to go BUT who on this team would you replace him with especially this far in the season. Unless Mike Riley comes out of retirement. only decent coach we have is our ST coach and he is not even close.
What's this team's biggest issue, you ask...?

That's a fair comparison.
The other factor that's relevant is QBing. Calgary's fall roughly corresponded to BLM's noodle arm phase and the misguided transition to Maier.
I think VAJ played a significant role in their resurrection.

Nothing is going to happen this season or next, but in 2 or 3 years if the downward trend continues, they miss the playoffs and attendance begins to fall, they will have to consider if O'Shea is still capable of turning the team around.

Every team is only as good as their Qb, he's like the goalie in hockey, if he's good, the team does good, if he's bad, man that team struggles to stay competitive. We gotta start by playing smart football and not turn the ball over, and then work from there.
Our coaches need to adapt not be replaced
Our OC hasn't proven anything yet and is my biggest concern
Good discussions

True, unless you have a league-top team. A top team can live with a middling or game-manager QB, and even win cups. I swear we would have won the '19 GC with Nichols had he not gotten Lemonated. Our team was that good. TOR won the '24 GC with a never-a-franchise-guy QB. I would argue MTL '23 was so good middling(!) Cody won the cup.
But that only works when your team (especially D) is miles better than everyone else.

I'm good with Condell for now. He gets a long leash. He
was successful: he took HAM to the GC twice in a row, and only us being unstoppable kept him from winning. And was it '19 or '21 (or both?) when HAM had an insane season record and even beat us a ton of times at our peak.

The poll has to be: "which unit is NOT a problem right now". Because maybe 1-2 units aren't total butt.
Maybe make it with "voters can select 2 (or 3) options".
With the poll the way you did it, like anyone could properly choose between OL, REC, QB or DBs!! ;)
(I'm with the others, the DL gets a pass -- they've massively improved over '25. ST might get a pass too, last game notwithstanding. LBers maybe too. But that's it. Everything else is horrible.)

Forgot about choose multiple! I'll have to check how to do that.
Well, Collaros should take some courage pils.then again, what am I saying. He will still get hammered by the turnstiles. Make a trade for Ford. His play call would be trips weak, A, B! C, Cut, Brady weak , QB Run this would probably be. Collaros 2nd last start. BC doesn't have a QB either, but we don't have any pass blockers. Final score - 6-3 Winnipeg
Clearly Younger isn't qualified to be a DC.. and Condell's best days are over as an OC. We should have tried to get the Elks OC when he was available.

They tried to hire Macsymic last year, he either declined the interview or their offer and signed with the Elks.
