Title: New additions to AR opinions on play
Post by: Blueforlife on July 25, 2026, 03:02:10 PM
I seen Ball get reps but didn't notice any plays, did he play teams?

Clercius played more 2nd half, got one ball? How was his blocking?  Needs time imo

Novak?

Jackson?

Noticed Schmekel get reps but looked to be limited impact

Will be interesting to see the changes this week.

Ball Clercius Schmekel will stay on for sure

I noticed most of them on ST's. Jackson in particular had 3 ST's but did take that RP for a hit out of bounds. Schmekel will take some time to get up to speed. At best he's a rotational player so it's harder to judge with Lawson off the roster.

So generally I'd say all were improvements to those they replaced.

However, I believe Dixon and Woodbey will return this week. Woodbey would replace Jackson and see duty on defence. I'm not sure who Dixon would replace but the most likely would be Reese. Reese looks like a keeper so it will depend on how the team ranks either.

I don't imagine Kramdi will return this week with some sort of hand injury.

Now do we lose Broxton, Daniels and Hallett to new injuries reported. I only saw the Broxton injury so was unaware of the other two nicks.

I suppose the biggest question is whether Collaros returns this week. Probably not based on O'Shea's vague answer and being placed on the 6 game IR.  For a player with a neck injury he isn't wearing any sort of neck brace but we're not doctors.

Some incredible insight as always, thanks for the summary

Hard to pickup this stuff live while socializing

Also hard to pick up everything on TV. In particular ST results unless someone shows up on the TV shot. A player can be doing well outside what we see on the smaller view.

Based some opinion on those replaced on the roster that had limited experience. The reality is that additions did replace healthy options and we have to believe that means they are both short and long term upgrades.

The Bombers should pickup OL Dejon Allen from BC now that he is available. I felt they should pick him up before Broxton got hurt, now it becomes even more urgent. He plays right tackle so we could slot him in easily.

That's what I thought but if they don't announce it on Sunday or Monday then it's not in the cards probably. OTOH it might mean that Broxton can play?

Allen would add the " mustard " to the OL lol

I know that's bad humour but we need some after last night.

That comment and my blue Santa hat are the two highlights of the game.

On my partial rewatch I've already noticed one bad Jackson play that really cost us, losing contain as gunner. Dude is very green. No idea why we wasted a DI.

Man, our IMP depth sucks
