Oh boy, didn't even want to attempt this last night, but a few thoughts:
The good:
- Zach slinging the ball like it's 2022 (421 passing yards).
- Tommy Neild looks like a ****ing keeper.
- Honestly, between White, Pokey, Demski, and Neild we could have 4 guys pushing for 1000 yard seasons.
- Condell is money.
- Exciting game to watch, despite the...
...the bad:
- Anything and everything on the defence was both bad and ugly
- Brady getting stuffed anytime we tried to run
- The doink
- attempting the kick (we usually go for it on that part fo the field)
- The INT in FG range on Zach's only real mistake
- Neild's drop in the endzone
- The realization that if those simple mistakes don't occur, we could have still won this game despite the..
...the ugly:
- Letting no name RB rush all over us
- Nichols worst game of his career
- No pressure from 4 man fronts or blitzes. Bo untouched all night
- Wheatfall making multiple perfect big plays
- Moxey not looking great
- Secondary pointing and yelling at each other like no ones knows what they're doing.
- Losing the home opener
- Going into the bye week on a loss.
Yep that was ugly, not going back too far but there was a time breakdowns in the secondary did not happen to the Bombers and any explosion play given up could be blamed on an inexperienced rookie CB getting burned on a double move. Younger has placed an enormous burden on Kramdi's shoulders to direct traffic, but what happens to his defence if Kramdi gets injured?
great summary...i am not one to harp on officiating too often but that crew wasn't spectacular last night..i think they missed some calls and overall just seemed clumsy and out of it.
the hamilton secondary wasn't very good either - losing peters was a blow but i would be a bit worried if i was a ti-cats fan
didn't try any of the new food items
Nicolino's running out of Peroni - terrible (great food as always though)
Be interesting to see the Wheatfall v White comparison later on in the season.
Penalty flags aside, it sure seemed the refs weren't doing a great job with spotting. How that INT from Stavros was deemed out of bounds at first was shocking. Also that generous spot on Nield's catch to give a first down was curious too as he didn't touch the 40yd line.

Ya, wheatfall had the game of his career, if he'd played like that when he was here he'd still be here.
I have absolutely no problem moving on from him and bringing in White
A few complaints about our secondary when Bo looked NFL quality this game.
Our secondary was often in position but his passes were for the most part perfect.
Good- O line did a good job protecting Colleros
-Colleros was sharp for second week in a row
-Sold out crowd again
-I didn't get wet
Bad-everything defense
-no pass rush
-poor coverage by DB's
-Nield another drop
Ugly-doink on the crossbar
-the weather if you were not under the deck
Good. the rainbow.
Bad. no pot of gold
Ugly. we must lead the league in crossbars the past few seasons
