Poll
Question: Opinions on the Super Bowl experience, did it match expectations?
Option 1: It was everything I hoped for and more.
Option 2: Over hyped and anti-climatic.
Option 3: Just another football game.
Option 4: They need to fix their game!
Option 5: Waste of time.
Option 6: Watched it for the commercials and the halftime show.

I tried to watch the second half to see what Bad Bunny was going to pull out of his hat but fell asleep early in the 4th Q.

It was pretty bad. I watch NFL occasionally, and that was one of the more boring games I have seen. It was pretty clear by the second quarter that Patriots offense was overmatched trying to deal with Seahawk's D, their O-line in particular, with a fairly green (although talented) QB. I bet my son at half-time that Patriots would get shut out (but lost). I thought the commentary, both play-by-play and colour, was excellent as was the input from the ref analyst. Camera work was great. Skipped the 1/2 time show. I only watch NFL when CFL is not available, for whatever reason, I much prefer CFL.

Playnow had a "Put $20 on the big game, and we'll give you $60 in slots tokens" deal, so I put a sprinkle on the Pats.  Free money makes bad decisions.

So, having "skin in the game", I watched the whole thing, including about 25% of the half time.

Having money on the line in a game where the outcome is decided in the first few drives makes for not just a boring game, but a frustrating one.

It was terrible.  Yes, if you are a big fan of defence, it was a good game to watch, but zero excitement.  No big defensive plays, really. Few sacks, few knockdowns, few INT's until garbage time.

Just solid positional D play neutralizing the O.

Literally nothing to be excited about.

Zzzz...

Obviously a nothing burger of a game, but just like any single CFL game, it should have no bearing of your opinion of the league as a whole at all.

I usually enjoy watching the NFL, but I was on my phone for the part of the game I did watch because nothing was happening.

Wanted to enjoy great football, hoped to be entertained, was curious on what Bad Bunny had to offer.
Alas the game was just great defensively otherwise a bust.

Liked a lot of the salsa beat and the effort was terrific but sadly BB's words eluded me.

Watching the "behind the scenes" setup for the halftime show, and was blown away.  All those people dressed up as grass/trees was incredible.

And apparently, BB went 124 yards on the ground with the ball during the halftime show, whereas the Patriots only went 79 all game.

The TPUSA alternate halftime, apparently Kid Rock lipsynched the whole thing.  Now he has a new nickname - Hillbilly Vanilli.

Both Ds where outstanding. Seahawks with 6 sacks, a big fumble recovery, and 2 Ints, one for 6. MVP Walker was outstanding.

Boring game. Been watching nfl since 1975, and this was the  First time I didn't watch the game, it was brutal. Mega over hyped.

Trash game.  Trash league.  The Grey Cup was infinitely more entertaining than the SB.  Think about that for a moment... the no-money 1/1000-the-budget league produces better football than the overhyped overmoneyed league.

At least they didn't need the refs to rig it later in the game like they often do.  There was no way they could ever make a Pats win look realistic, and they wanted Seattle to win anyhow.  In the whole NFL playoffs I think only 2-3 games were what I'd call "good".

I would have rather seen Singleton & the Broncos in it.  But on the plus side, it's been a while since Seattle had a win, so good for them.
