Some insanely stupid choices.
Not personally pleased that Binnington, Stone and Hagel get picked. Perhaps even through in Sanheim
For me it's Stone, Doughty. Hagel and Marchand I am on the fence. 55 should be on this team.

Ya, definitely some questionable picks, you can add Wilson to the list, how he makes it and you leave Sam Bennett off is beyond me. I m sure there's a rhyme and a reason for their selections that escape the common fan and I know cooper has his own philosophies and reasons so so be it, the pressure is on him to win
I like Tom Wilson. One of the top power forwards in the NHL. Having himself an excellent year with a point a game. His size, speed, and physical play is something this team needs.
Wilson, and Horvat both injured.
Dear Canada by Connor McDavid (https://www.theplayerstribune.com/connor-mcdavid-nhl-hockey-canada-edmonton-oilers)
F Bennett replaces F Cirelli (https://www.tsn.ca/nhl/article/cirelli-to-miss-olympics-team-canada-adds-bennett-as-replacement/)
F Jarvis replaces F Point (https://www.tsn.ca/nhl/article/canada-to-make-call-on-points-status-by-weekend/)
Bennett and Mackinnon missed practice today. Maintenance.
JMO is good to go and looked good.
Marchand is also ready to go.
Sids injury didn't look good. Boy's are going have to get this done in the third.
Crosby out for the rest of this one. Hope he's okay.
This game's been tough to watch.
Need something from our bottom 6.

It's like watching a Jets game. Neutral zone transition and team defense have been rough today.
Dostal having the game of his life, too.
A little redemption there for Suzuki. What a beautiful tip.
Attaboy, Marner! Team Canada moves on to the semis.
Suzuki work on Canada's third goal was outstanding. But, yes Marner showed his talent in OT.
Hockey was so very competitive and fun to watch
Thankfully, our 🇨🇦 lads got the victory
It's pretty crazy how this got missed during the game.

Yes, that's just sad. Suspend all four refs.
I would like to see Bennett and Jmoe back in the lineup.
Canada dominated most of this game. In the end, you have to score when you have wide open nets.
Yup, multiple chances that just didn't cross the line
The effort by our Canadian lads was first rate most times
I can't believe the criticism and hard knocks McDavid has taken over this loss. The man is only human and can only do so much. Without him we don't even get out of the playoff rounds. We had zero puck luck in that gold medal game, zero. We were clearly the better team, but Sometimes the bounces just don't go your way, and a lot of bounces didn't go our way. There no point p*##ing and moaning about the 3 on 3 overtime, who went who didn't go, fact is our 3 best players were on the ice and there was a calamity of things that went wrong, but seriously, with the game on the line and you have Nate Connor and makar on he ice, you ve done all you can do to win the game, but sometimes you need to get a bounce even the best players in the world need a.bounce sometimes
MacKinnon missing the gaping net, Hellebuyck making a miraculous save on Toews, squandering a 90-sec. 5v3 powerplay: three things that immediately come to mind that if they go the other way, Canada likely wins the game. The better team didn't win but that's just how it goes sometimes, especially with 3v3 OT.
McDavid was the MVP and best forward of the tournament and set a record for points scored. Anyone criticizing his performance is simply being irrational.

Totally agree. The man is a threat to score everytime he's on the ice and represented us with dignity and class. Those questioning why he can't win the big one fail to understand that largely depends on the rest of the roster but that doesn't mean he isn't the best player in the game and possibly ever
The blatant too many men missed call was crushing, the bench reacted, and you know it was a let down for them.
The best team doesn't always win, puck luck means a lot.
Losing Crosby and Morrissey were huge as well.
The worst part is the way Trump and his cronies are lauding this as some great achievement, after 24 years of no Gold.
Air Force One picking up the team, feeding them McDonalds at the White House?
Pretty sad, really.

Eh. This team had the horses to win gold even with those two out of the line-up. I do think Morrissey's puck moving ability would've come in handy the last two games, especially in OT.
I completely agree with you on the post-game activities of the the gold medal winning team. Forever tainted, IMO.
Truely, the "Miracle on Ice" part 2.
Hellybuyck getting the "Medal of Honor"? For stealing the Gold for the US. Trump is weird.
The guy I reallly feel for in all of this is Kyle Connor....why didn't he dress for the Gold Medal game?? He was sat out in 4 Nations Final and the Gold Medal game, that is just cruel

Miracle 2 made me laugh. Canada and the USA, were 1 and 1A going into the Olympics. I was no miracle.

Not based on pregame, but watching the game, it is a Miracle they won. And that Miracle was named Hellebuyck, with the Congressional Medal of Honor.

He's just not that good. There were better players to play then him.

I don't believe for a Second he couldn't have been on their third line. Same goes for MS55
