Looks like a great possession receiver with really good size, should compliment Pokey well.  Not much for YAC or creating separation but has some serious mitts and he's playing big league football in Nebraska. Wish Clercius could fill this function.

Great size.
Title: Bombers add former Nebraska WR Jahmal Banks

As per CFL's Transactions page.

Banks (6'4", 220lbs) was undrafted after his senior year at Nebraska but signed with Baltimore Ravens in 2025.

Of note:  On September 24, 2025, Banks was suspended six games by the NFL due to undisclosed reasons.

Sounds like a decent prospect

I think we discussed this signing earlier in the week in another thread, he does look like a good option.

Runs an awesome slant pattern. Too bad we never run slants.

Howdy J5.  Maybe we would if we had a good slant runner?!  Especially if he can take abuse.

I am looking forward to an entirely new playbook. The one we have been using is Lapo's with adjustments isn't it? Lapo, Buck, Hogan. Condell will bring his own, not tweak what was already there.

We need receivers who can block for the short passing plays.

Last years players either couldn't block, or didn't want to.

All the reason to draft / find those that will.

Suspended by team in rookie season
Otherwise Shoen say goodbye
Otherwise he would be perfect in the CFL vs the little DBs and LBs.

Maybe he will pan out, maybe he will be one of the many big receivers that look promising size-wise but either can't catch a beach ball or can't separate from a tortoise.

I'll regurgitate his highlight reel for you, he looked pretty good playing against NCAA Div 1 Big 10 competition.

Highlight reels always look good, that's why they're called highlight reels.

Judging by his best plays, he looks good. We shall see.
