Wow. 10 OL on the roster already not counting Bryant and Lofton who both are pending FAs. Doesn't make sense to sign more OL if for 2 positions only. Are we planning to go 3 Americans on the OL?
Hopefully the plan is to keep Collaros safe and secure because he is terrible under pressure.

This may or may not have anything to do with considering 3 import OL. More OL will be looked at and more will be signed. Some will be replaced and released before the main TC.
At the moment we have 4 starting OL and 1 from IR as potential free agents. When the dust settles we'll how things look then.

There's no ratio in training camp. You need to have enough bodies to run multiple line variations.
Also, when you get a guy to come up here after years of scouting them, you bring them up. At some point, Walters may sign a prospect he likes more and one of these OL gets cut before ever seeing camp. We see it every year.
Can he snap? ;D ;D ;D 8)

Are we going to have an offset Oline, where the tackle snaps now?

Hmmm. Certainly would confuse the D!

Recognize the name but can't recall him ever being here, was he a no-show at camp?

He was an addition during the expanded PR IIRC. Seems strange to go from PR to retired to added back. Perhaps he didn't report and got suspended then retired then added back.
Regardless he seems to be added back at least in the short term.
