Keep hearing the fact that the Bombers are aging out, and that it might be hard to continue their dominance...

So, no... more players 26 and under than 30 or older.
Not getting old, getting better and our "old" players aren't playing "old"...
It's realistic to think several of those older players will not play in 2026. We have some young players that will be taking on bigger roles in 2026.
Yeah was talking about us getting old and also how we brought in fresh young talent
We are in transition
Agree old guys still got it and I believe we are developing well on replacements
Would like more developmental guys on DL and OL but we will figure that out
I'm again wondering about Collaros's arm strength. 2 INT because of 2 underthrown passes.
179 YRDS with 2 TDs and 2 INTs isn't a good game. Our D won this.

More or less. Game one was mostly Streveler and the offense. Game two was much more defense than offense.

Where does schoen pencil in at??
No one really makes the case that the Bombers are old anymore except for people trying to make this point. We were a very aging roster 2 years ago and have made many changes in the past two off seasons.

This weekend on the CFL broadcasts heard one say they are old mention and another how we have found young talent. Wish I could remember who but my brain doesn't retain info like that unless I write it down.
Quote from: DM83 on June 23, 2025, 12:42:05 AMTheir age has become a cause for concern. Stanley Bryant standing around a lot.
Two guys who have lost it starting last year are Zac and Willie.
Zac can't get the ball downfield anymore, and it started last year. He's great all the rest.
And Willie? Has he played this year? He doesn't even rush the QB most plays. He has become a finesse player, who may not be even able to run anymore. Most plays if he is blocked he quits rushing, and tries to either bat the ball down after taking two steps, or tries to keep contain running laterally.
Last games they had him looping inside.
Even though Zac signed an extension, he basically lost the Hret Cup for us last year. And in this last game against BC, if they were not so poorly organized, the Bombers would probably lost that one.
Look out! Here comes age.
Overstated on the negative on Willie who was lights out in the Grey Cup, very good game one and had a bad game this week. I don't agree with much you have said. He will consistently be a strong contributor with, some great game and a few quiet ones imo. I don't think this is his last season.
He was top 5 in disruptions last year and a still a top player. Yes he is old but still very good.
Zach looked good preseason and showed flashes of being good and bad last game. Yes he is old but still very effective imo. I am not sure how he will play this season but I'm optimistic he will have a strong year.
Bryant is old but steady and fine. OL been good.
I'm with Jesse. We've made progress.
More importantly probably, how about get the average & median age for '25 and compare to '24 and '23. (Ya, I just assigned more homework, sorry!)
I think it would also be fruitful to also break it down by starter vs dressed, and dressed vs PR/IR. I have a hunch our DIs/AR-backups trend way younger than the starters and we've made them younger over the years. I actually am not sure what you'd find...
