This recent bout of heat and gusting winds, combined with dry conditions across much of the province have led to some serious wildfires so early in the year. Even with some cooler temps and much needed precipitation expected, the situation remains dire.
Be mindful while outdoors and monitor air quality reports, especially if you have pre-existing conditions like asthma. And be safe out there.
I don't have the words to describe how depressing this is at present.
Need a couple of good days of rain, and the wind to cooperate.

The wind has been the real villain of late. Although, that's probably due to the accompanying heat spike we've seen this week.
I sure hope Nopiming will be alright.
Heart goes out to the couple that lost their lives in Lac du Bonnet.
Listen to the fire bans this weekend, people, tempting as it might be while you're trying to enjoy the beginning of the season.
