If the Bombers were to win on Sunday it would be more impressive than Edmontons run because the Bombers have done this in the cap era. It is much harder to stay on top with every year having significant turnover of players.

Great article!! The 80's Bombers were a magical unit and I remember them well. Those were the 'good ole days!!' Tommy Clements rolling out and hitting James Murphy or Jeff Boyd, Joe Pop or Rick House. The running of Willard Reaves, the dominance of our O line with Walby, Bonk, Bastaja and company,  and augh, our defense. Yes, those were the days, but I must say, this 5 year run rivals that one for sure. Our present day Bomber unit is a very humble, hard working and successful unit as well. These are the new 'good ole days', and Sunday, we bring it home again!!!

This period of time for the Bombers followed years of struggle which makes it even more special.  Tip of hat to those that stuck by the team when MOS and Hall 1st came here.  Patience paid off.

Thanks for that Zach.  On point and interesting takes as usual.
