I GOT YOUR BACK!
What a great dude, so nice to see him. Love the speech. Love the GOT YOUR BACK! And now watching him at home his TSN interview is even better.
Give him some love here, y'all!!
Thanks for everything Andrew! And ya, we'll see you again for the Ring Of Honor. And maybe even another role... who knows.
An all time great. Slightly ahead of Charlie imo. Loved me a Charlie mind you.
Yeah that was nice. I don't know if he's really interested in CFL coaching but isn't he doing some coaching on Vancouver Island in junior football?
Another Canadian wanting / getting a chance to coach in the CFL is never a bad thing. Being a hometown guy even better.

He was appointed head of football operations and head coach of the Vancouver Island Raiders.
The Raiders play in the seven-team B.C. Football Conference; which itself is part of the Canadian Junior Football League (CJFL).
That experience would not hurt him if he every becomes a CFL coach.
I was confused why he was wearing #10 when I was @PAS, as he didn't say. But to Lu on TSN he said he was wearing it to support Demski, as he "felt weird" about wearing his own number.
He's a classy guy, especially as he goes gracefully into that good night.

He also said it was a Rod Hill jersey
I found it funny that when he said that for Demski, that was right when Demski got hit in the Nards ;D
AH33 on the sidelines close to Dinwiddie all night in the MTL@TOR game. Weird... I thought he a) was taking the summer off, and b) working as a junior football coach soon.
Clearly he has some paid role for TOR. Anyone know what that is?
He's currently Director - Head of Operations for the Vancouver Island Raiders, whose season starts July 20th. Looks like the initial plan was for him to coach this year as well. Guess that has changed?

Yeah, that was announced like 2 years ago but has never been mentioned since. I'm not sure he ever followed through with it.
I posted this last week, don't know which thread, but it brings AH up to date.

Can you give us the TLDW; exec summary? It's on my queue to watch but haven't had time yet.
Quote from: DM83 on June 29, 2024, 11:53:27 AMI think he is struggling in the non-football world. I would hope he would land a Rb job somewhere, and start finishing his education. I think the Bombers should hire him as a RB coach
I'm pretty sure he never
started his education. I don't think he ever went to any post-secondary anything. He's a great RB with great football IQ, but I'll be the first to say his university IQ probably isn't up to snuff.
But hey, you play to your strengths, and so far that's what he's doing, and good for him. If TOR wants to pay him to be around, it's a great move for both TOR and AH. He has limitless opportunities in the football world, and in the non-football world in WPG using his name cachet.
Did everyone forget that Andrew Harris is the Head Coach of the Vancouver Island Raiders?

No... we're just wondering why a) he didn't mention it once when in WPG the other day, b) he said he was taking the whole summer off, and c) he's on the TOR sidelines still.
Weird job where you don't seem to be doing anything actually at that job! Even if they are in off-season right now, you think you'd be prepping for your new gig!

The article you provided is from February 2023. There seems to have been a change in plans almost a year later: https://www.viraiders.ca/news/2024-announcements
I can't recall the details but he explained in interview earlier in the spring he has a good job outside football in London Ont. and is doing pretty well financially working for a large distribution company. If he was on the sidelines with the Argos it was as a guest or as alumni, he has no role with the team. As for the V.I. Raiders he is still involved with the team but not as a coach. I think the owner of the Raiders is the person actually employing him in S. Ont.

You have to listen to the interview, it is mostly focused on the documentary he made and the struggles he went through during Covid and in his last season with the Bombers. Doesn't talk much about football, it's all personal stuff about his struggle with mental health.
Before anyone makes up more stuff take the time to watch the interview.

It's been brought up several times, but after that news release a year and a half ago...has it ever been mentioned again?
Doesn't appear to be so: https://www.viraiders.ca/coaches

Well, there you go.
Are we sure he was just a "civilian" on the TOR sidelines last week? He was wearing the right stuff and standing reaaaaaaaaaaaaal close to Dinwiddie the whole game...
If he wanted a sales/whatever gig outside of football... you'd think he'd do so in WPG where he'll be treated like a king for life. Why set up shop in TOR where nobody knows you and nobody cares?

That's not his fulltime job, he is working as a salesman for Atlas Engineered Products based out of London, Ont, they make engineered trusses. The owner of the company is Hadi Abassi, a Harris mentor and the owner of the Vancouver Island Raiders.

Thank you, TLB. I think AH enjoys sales. He was working for a Ford Dealership for a short period of time when he was in Winnipeg.
Has anyone actually seen his documentary?
'Running Back Relentless', apparently streaming now on Apple, Amazon Prime and Google Play, none of which I am subscribed to.
