I certainly wouldn't mind if the Riders took the Argos down a peg.

So, guessing Toronto is the home team in Touchdown Atlantic to pad their "at home" attendance stats...

Considering that the capacity of that place is like 10,000 I don't think it's going to pad much.

No way Sask would give a home game, they are still drawing good crowds.

I thought so too, but it looks like their average on the season is 14,220, and that fills 52.67% of their stadium.... And they are undefeated lol
They are actually somehow down from last year, an average of 802 less per game.

We must cheer for TOR as anything that causes a W team to lose is a bonus for us.

Of course, SSK is going to get creamed, because Fine ain't fine.  Saskfans always called AH33 "roided", and last week they were calling Brady roided(??).  $20 says Oullette is going to get the same treatment when he puts up 130 yards and 2 TD on them this week.  Oullette is like double the beef of AH and BO.

SSK is going to need a miracle just to make the playoffs.  They need a better QB, like yesterday.

Here are the rules for cheering (or not) CFL teams...  :D

When East meets West - other than the Bombers - we cheer for the East team always.
When East meets East we cheer for the Eastern team lower in the standings (unless the lower team is a crossover possibility).
When West meet West we cheer for the Western Team lower than the Bombers in the standings.
When the Bombers play we cheer for the Bombers.  Every other team in the CFL in the enemy.

It's pretty simple.  ;D

Not true. Ouellette is listed as 5'9"/208, Harris 5'10"/ 216, BO20 5'10"/222.

Haha - not bad for "the rules".  One caveat immediately comes to mind - west vs west and the lower team can overcome us in the standings.

And there's always wildcard of cheering against Toronto no matter what (maybe that's just a holdover from the leafs...), and cheering against any team where BLM is actively playing (no, I'm not cheering for him to be injured, just have a long memory with respect to him breaking off about the Bombers at half time when we weren't all that good for a few years).

I'd like to see both teams lose. Maybe a tie game in OT is the best thing we can hope for? I can't see the Riders beating the Argos but I wouldn't be upset to see the Argos dropped down a notch.

Quellette hasn't had a 100 yard rushing game this season. AH33 hasn't rushed for a 100 yards all season.

at the beginning of the year Dickenson wanted to keep all 4 qbs on the roster cause they were all so good,,,just an example of how poor the coaches are at evaluating their team. When you add that to the total lack of leadership you get this game

I'll also add, like BigDaddy, ABBLM

If CGY keeps being mediocre for 5 more years, and BLM becomes a distant memory there maybe I'll drop the ABC rule.  Maybe.

Wow, riders struggling big time, shooting the, selves in the foot again with a pick six, combine that with the turnover at the goal line and that?s 14 points the Argos shouldn?t have, but do. Both teams struggle on offence but the Argos don?t turn the ball over to cost them points

I've noticed his brain has little lapses here and there over the last few weeks. But generally he's ok, and I like him better than Suits; he's far more affable.  He and Forde make a good team.

I think they replaced him on the panel a few years back because his face was starting to get more suited for radio than hosting CFL  ;D

Rider got to take care of the football better, it?s that simple. They aren?t a hot mess, but huge turnovers cost them 14 points and allowing the punt return is 21 points of the 31 points the Argos scored. Take care of the football and this game is a lot closer than the score suggests

Ya, SSK is a hot mess.  Go read their forum.  Even with the green goggles they all see how bad it is.  2012/13 Bombers bad.

Quarters 2 thru 4 were all garbage time.  I'd just say after the first TOR TD it was "garbage game" for TOR.  They literally went prevent-everything, especially on O.  They knew they didn't have to take any chance on O after the first score.  So they didn't.

Kinda like how we thought no way Crum could come back on us.  Problem for us was Crum was a decent QB in hiding with no film, whereas Fine is unFine.  Teams that are "guaranteed to win" take the foot off pretty quickly.

Any game E beats W is a good game, as long as it's not us.  Hit up the CKRM stream tonight, should be fun!

Ya, I do.  I think if you put each guy behind the same OL with the same R corps that Corny would do better.  Wouldn't be by much though  :D   Keep in mind Corny and EDM stayed in the game into the 3rd Q vs us just the other week!

EDM is suffering from so much headspace stuff and coaching inadequacies.  SSK at least believes a little bit.  Plus EDM has no fans there; SSK is still putting cheering butts in seats.  That affects morale from the first whistle.

When both Corny and Fine are shelved for good, Corny will have 10+ more starts than Fine, bank on it.  If EDM doesn't put Ford or Doege-coin in next week I would hanker a guess Fine gets benched before Corny.  SSK has to produce wins and can't sit on a loser: EDM can stand pat and suck for the rest of time and everyone will just expect it.

Let's all take a deep breath and remember that EDM just played arguably the best or second best team in the league right now.  (I'd say 3rd best, but that's just me.)  What we saw might not be an indication of their true ability.  They did almost win a few this season already...

Oakman destroys Fine.

Riders seem rutterless. Dickenson should have been canned last year.

I think they are totally ruttered.  Stuck so deep in the rut, they can't see over the sedge...

What would SSK look like with Fajardo under centre?  Looking like a bad move, there...

Makes Labour day a trap... remember 7-1 vs 1-7?

Riders failed twice in close.....score those two TDs and the game was within reach albeit the Argos looked pretty impressive.    Definitely top of the heap and with Harris and Ouellette banging out yardage their run game sets up Chad Kelly to have continued success.

True Harris only has 2 or 3 solid to good runs a game and is shut down. He barely sees the ball. Ouellette looks like a street bum with muscles but is a truck to tackle.
I do not think Kelly would be nearly as good without that nice Argos roster.

Yes, AH33 really hasn't done much this season. 136 yard rushing, 34 yards receiving. 170 yards of O in 6 games. Not AH33 like numbers. Looks like the Argo's are just trying to keep him healthy, and us him more as protection for Kelly right now.

He is more like a blocking or full back now than anything.

AH is the perfect setup for TOR to use the DNA rule in the post-season on O.  AH starts and is DNS, Oullette is DA and DNA and can play 23 snaps for AH.  He can play even more if they take an IMP WR out for a few plays.  Funny, Oullette doesn't seem like he's a "vet" since he didn't breakout until last season, but I'm pretty sure he's 3+ years with TOR.

The main problem battling Oullette is he's equally good up the gut as around the edge.  I have been seeing D's having more success bringing him down lately, though.  The key seems to be go low.  You can't arm wrap his torso, nor just bang him down, it's impossible.

They'd look just like last year.  A .500 team.  Fine < Cody, that's why Cody always started over Fine!
