The game we won, Zach played, we hit every hot route. The game we lost, dru played, we hit zero hit routes. Maybe dru doesn't understand pressure.

Pretty sure to win we need Zach.

No changes to roster except that Collaros may play.  We had the option to make some changes if we wanted and decided to stay pat.

I'm not saying that was a mistake anymore than resting several starters that have been nursing injuries for an extended time.

I do point out that the Als didn't seem to rest as many players and had more practises this week than we did. They are not travelling and have the home field advantage.

Win or lose there isn't a real way to tell if these were the right or wrong decisions.

Winning makes that irrelevant though.
No more excuses

Just hope Zach is full strength if Oshea is gonna start him.

Or Zach is smart enough to tell them, I'm still banged up or my fingers falling off stop calling long bombs

And not the classic Bighill, Schoen, Streveler, sending guys out who can barely walk and end it just ends up hurting the team.

He's not. Full stop.

Hasn't been able to practice in 2 weeks.

Just numb up the ribs. Problem solved. It's a pain thing, not a muscle thing.

I think the notion of Zach starting is a smoke screen to have Montreal spend time on defending deep pass routes that aren't going to be called as Brown will be our starter, and we'll lose this game.

And Oshea doesn't care about practice and cares about giving his vets an opportunity even if they obviously can't give 100%.

See what happens.

Go Zach

Last weekends win was a fluke, they will need a double fluke to beat the Als.

At this stage practice should basically be used just to install new wrinkles and tricks.  There is absolutely no gel or anything else to be gained come post-season.  We are what we are.

And many wrinkles can be taught just in the study room.  And it's MOS we're talking about, so there will be ZERO tricks.

Last week was nothing short of a miracle. We're out of miracles this week.

Pete

We seem to have one each year, remember the crazy wind gust ly that let us kick a fg to win, wasnt that against mtrl?

Can't argue that. However that's why they play the games. One bad bounce can win or lose a game. It doesn't always happen in the last 2 minutes but it's know that a very small number of plays can determine the outcome.

Odds are not in our favour and I'm not wishing any opponent to get injured. It happened to Collaros in 2024 with the sliced finger. I don't know we would have won that game if not for that injury but it shows crap happens.

Against the Argos, Fletcher strips the ball and Kelly suffers a shoulder problem and is out of the game.

We may be out of miracles but we are capable of playing a solid game and winning. No, we are not the better team overall but we have defected the Als this year.

Weve also been on yge other end where we were strongly favored and lost so maybe its our turn,!
