Throw Long Bannatyne

Quote from: dd on November 01, 2026, 04:35:57 PMMOS has got such great emotional control and high football IQ on how the game works and how the players prepare for games. He never bites on any of the very leading questions the reporters throw at him, he just stays focused on the task at hand, doesn't worry about last years playoff lost, as he says its irrelevant, and it is.

I love his mindset and believe he'll have our guys ready to upset the Als in Montreal

Amazing any Toronto reporters showed up for the presser as apparently none even follow the team. I don't know if the Argos employ an embedded reporter like Ed Tait or not.

Quote from: Blue In BC on November 01, 2026, 02:03:15 PMJust re-watched the game. Like most game there were plays on both sides that could have gone the other way. Lots of turning points.

Did you have a chance to scrutinize the phantom flags?  That's what I'll be studying when I rewatch.
Never go full Johnston!

TBURGESS

If Grant doesn't fumble the punt we lose. Sometimes it really does come down to 1 play.
Plan for the worst. Hope for the best.

UPDATE! On the @Film_Never_Lies "Watch-Along" for CFL east Semi!

Starting at 12:30 pregame, 1:08 kick off. TSN 2!!! @TSN_Sports

@chavisdavis7 on early, the Commish at 1/2, @BobIrvingCJOB in the 3rd qtr!

What does it mean that TSN is offering this broadcast on one of their stations?  I've stumbled upon watch-alongs before and it seems like a really bizarre way to watch a game.

Here is that Luke Wilson show, it has a weird vibe that makes it seem very different than a CFL production, this is obviously a calculated direction they want to move in.

No. I just did a speed re-watch. In real time during the game you miss much of the details and only focus on the result. The re-watch is almost like a challenge watching the same play several times. I didn't take into account any issues about penalties on either side. Only thought we took to many again.

Example: M.Williams defence against Coxie ( I think ) in the near TD. The ball was caught but he didn't survive being able to get a foot down before landing. It was literally inches away from a TD.

I'm still not sure if he would have landed a foot without the push from Williams. I don't know that Williams could have played that any better.

Let me know what you see / feel when you do your re-watch.

Highs and lows in games: I was ticked when Hansen took an illegal block on the opening K/O. Didn't notice him much for the rest of the game.

Then he recovers the fumble which result in the Bombers win. Sometimes it only takes one play to make a difference in a game, good or bad. lol

Fletcher wasn't having a bad game but his strip / fumble on Kelly showed high athleticism and IMO high football IQ.

This is really worth it if you want to re-watch the game, Luke Wilson goes into much more play detail than the normal TSN broadcast crew. It would be even better if they put LaPo on with him.

Easy to say we didn't deserve this win, but how many games were we in this season where some real bad luck hits us in the 4th and steals the game away from us.

How about the Brady fumble in the 2025 esf... We had all the momentum and were probably going to win until that happened.

So the football gods gave us one back vs tor. Maybe the same will happen two more times. You always need a little luck, especially when you've proven you can stay close to any team.
