What is Perkins? A Nealon Green? He's on the team because he can run the short yardage very well. If he couldn't do that then he would not be on the team at all.

Anyway, the point appears to moot as Zach got in a limited practice. He's bound to be on the roster.

Perkins was signed to fight for Wilson's spot.  He was #2 until Elgersma came north.  And he passed Elgersma.  And then Dru came available.

Perkins did not come here to run SY, he does it because the team called on him to do it, and he does it very well.

He is under contract through next year.  After that, if we don't give him a legit chance to win the starting spot, someone else will.
Unabashed positron.  Blue koolaid in my fridge.  I wear my blue sunglasses at night.  Homer, d'oh.

Why does Collaros seem to get injured every game or two? I doubt Collaros can stay in the whole game but he is our best chance. Brown only played well because B.C. Lions didn't want or need to win the last game.

I don't think he's necessary passed Elgersma, they like Perkins as a short yardage guy but who knows how they view him as a QB.

I disagree, they were sticking it to us the entire game. Remember all those backups are in there to make a statement to make the team next year. Sometimes I would be more worried about unknown backups that you can't plan against.

He was never #2. Walters was waiting to see IF Elgersma would come north before signing a vet QB.

Perkins was only ever SY.
My wife is amazing!
