The Bombers will be releasing their nominees for the various CFL awards soon. Here are my picks.
Outstanding player-Olivera
Canadian-Olivera
Special teams-Castillo
Defensive Player-Tony Jones
Offensive lineman-Broxton
Rookie-Major Williams

My hardest choice was between Jones and Kramdi and I gave it to Jones because he did not miss any games

No contest, Kramdi was born to be a coach, he played great his first game back against the Als but he spends a lot of snaps isolated in space but not getting involved in actual playmaking on most downs.

Younger and Kramdi may think they're re-inventing the wheel with flux positioning, but in the long run it falls short of the effectiveness of a standard defensive formation.

Kramdi has been in no man's land a lot

Never in a million years.  Brox doesn't grade out too hot in my Tecno Takes.  You can tell he's still not used to passpro on the right side.  And his run-block Yoshi-roadgrading is still not great (though better).  It's part of the reason we can't move bodies when teams decide to stop Brady.

To me the guy who has screwed up the least (which is the best you're gonna get out of WPG OL this year) is Neuf.  So he'd be my vote.  And no way is he going to win squat vs the other powerhouse OLs in the West, let alone the league.

Too bad Singer didn't start earlier in the season or he'd give Major a run for his money.  Now Singer will be robbed of ever getting a chance at ROY.

Major Williams has been strong since the start of the season, off-hand I can't think of a CFL rookie that has made a bigger impact. Decent chance he gets offered NFL options and they lose him for half of next season.

Thought Bonds would be back by now but probably going to be next TC or not at all.

No one knows the story on Bonds.  With Moxey out and other DBs a bit nicked, you would have thought he'd have been called up if his injury was clearing up.  He may be done/gonzo; or maybe Mafia doesn't agree with some of us that he could have become a good longer-term chess piece.

If Bonds was here right now that would spell Vaval, which would definitely be worth it.

Outstanding player-Olivera (We don't have any other contenders)
Canadian-Olivera (We definitely don't have any other contenders)
Special teams-Vaval (Should be in contention for the league award).
Defensive Player-Williams (he's impressed me more than any other D player)
Offensive lineman-Neufeld (OL is kind of whatever - none of us or the voters know what they're talking about)
Rookie-Williams (I think he's great - Singer probably gets it if he plays the whole season)

Also, does anyone remember when Willie and Ceresna were both leading the league in sacks with 6 each? Then they've gotten nothing since?

They should add another award for Most Outstanding Offensive player ( MOO ). QB's get all the glory usually and often win the top award.

There is an award for most outstanding defensive player. So wouldn't that be somewhat of a parallel decision?

Wouldn't the QB just win that award too?

Possibly.  A defensive player might win MOP as well as the defensive award. It seems strange that we have an award for OL, but the defensive category doesn't have an award for a DL. It's a broad stroke award.

I suppose in theory an OL could win the MOP but that would be a surprise.

Anyway it's just an idea I'd think would add value.

I need this to happen in tiers.

1st round: position awards. Top receiver, linebacker, QB, etc. both divisions.

2nd round: outstanding offensive and defensive players

3rd round: MOP

Hate this:
There will not be a traditional awards ceremony in 2026, as players will instead be honored at surprise presentations late in the regular-season and into the playoffs, with video clips being published online.

My list, pretty similar to others here.

Outstanding player - Olivera
Canadian - Olivera
Special teams - Vaval
Defensive Player - Tony Jones
Offensive lineman - Neufeld
Rookie - Williams

Sounds like TSN cutting back further on their commitment to promoting the CFL.
