Nice win for our Bombers. Another short week and travel to boot. Which means the boys probably won't practice much again this week. The D has to be tired and beaten up. Last two games the D has been on the field for nearly 77 minutes and 136 plays. Lawson played 60 of the 70 plays in Montreal and 4 ST snaps. The boy need to get a few more 2 and outs.

Brady should be well rest with only 11 touches, maybe he will practice this week. LOL.

Was Eli beater then Elsbury???

Reese with 4 DTs, Wilson with 4 DTs, Shay 2 STs, Williams 10 DTs, 1 ST.

Win and we are in. Then we can sit back and see where the chips fall.

Will be a tough game.  Interesting to see if the roster changes much.  I think the OL was about the same but got it done some way mostly because Zach was running well and had some nice scramble plays.  This part of his game is his secret sauce but it's a limited time supply imo.

Brady's time to cook.

Brady had one of his worst games of the season with only 8 touches. He's cooking flat pancakes and needs to find his old recipe. Generally we live or die with his success or fail.

I think by design to test Calgary's weak D and they did have changes on the back end, they were stacking the box and Zach go his man coverage down field and took what they were giving him.  We obviously also game planned this.

But yes Brady stirs the drink and needs get the lumps out of his batter lol, not too smooth though don't want to over whip it lol

Yes, Brady's kitchen was closed most of the night. But, then again if you miss practice for 90% of the season, sooner or later it has to have an effect on your timing. 11 touches all night isn't enough to get him into the game.

He had 2 of his 3 best best rushing games against the Stamps. 113 and 128 yards in 29 carries. Last night 40 yards in 8 carries.

Obviously they changed the game plan but was that because Brady has been nicked for several weeks. 4 of his worst games of the season have been more recent. 3 of his last 5 games since dealing with ankle issues.

Noting that is why we continue to suggest having Peterson on the AR and taking some reps and giving the defence a different look.

Peterson came on and got no touches, it simply was a waste of a spot.

Brady has been consistent all year but yes a couple down games, which followed two strong ones.

As long as he is 80% I wouldn't dress Peterson.  I would try a bit of Demski, a speed sweep with someone and give MCI a couple touches and maybe a screen to Daniels.

Hard to know if Brady's injury was the reason for the limited touches this week.  I think the deep ball was there and we took it.

It was a waste of a spot because we didn't use him.

You should check the game stats more. Brady has had 5 games out of 16 where he's had less than 50 yards. Two of those were in the last 2 games.

He hasn't been practising much if at all. If we in fact make it to the play offs that's when we'd need him the most. He's not 80% if he can't even practice which is the point.

I don't understand your reluctance to never let anybody see any touches.  Whether it;s Peterson, MCI or even a dual QB set with Perkins getting a run or 2 or as a decoy.
