Quote from: Big Daddy on October 04, 2026, 12:57:38 AMI guess CFL doesn't want to be too obvious - two games where the opponent doesn't get a single penalty could be a pattern, not just a fluke.  I'm half joking...

Shrug, bad teams take penalties. Maybe there's a soft call or whatever but the main problem is we aren't good. That's not on Proulx.

Those middle screens Mtl are running should be called as illegal receiver down field as the O linemen are about six yards down field over the LOS. A screen has to be thrown behind the LOS where the O linemen are not across the LOS before the pass is caught.

Hate to say it, pains me to say it, but nobody is beating Montreal this year. Their heavy reliance on the bubble screen game seems too simple but heck they move the ball consistently, and add to that Tyson philipot scorching you for 200 yards on deep throws makes it doubly tough.but the very simple, screen passes that go for big yardage over and over again is tough to watch

Quote from: Horseman on October 04, 2026, 12:59:10 AMMaybe Alexander will beat the 700 yard passing record for a game. What a joke, two Bombers gave up and didn't even push Snead out of bounds.

Quote from: Sway on October 04, 2026, 01:00:03 AMI have to assume Oshea has taught these guys to not hit the player when they are close to sidelines

Ya this was Major not wanting to take the 15 the league throws at you when the returners bait you into a UR as they put a foot on the rail 0.5s before you hit them.

They put the tacklers in a bind, and the best returners know how to play this for maximum effect.  The guy holds up?  Keep running near the line.  He's coming in hot?  Step on the rail and get a free 15.

I say just cream them for max pain and to heck with the possible 15.  At least you'll wear out/injure their returner in exchange for 15.

This - there is no pride left, and no effort for some of them.  Or just stupidity, standing and watching.  Don't know which is worse.

I'm a big believer in O'Shea over the years.  If I see O'Shea with a smirk on his face on the sidelines going forward my TV may not survive.

It is so lopsided, the CFL game ticker gave up. No stats since the Bummers punted.

I agree with all your points except the part that it's not on Proulx.  This is not his crew's best called game, not by a long shot.  It definitely is not all on him and his crew, but they aren't doing a good job today.

We went over this earlier in the year (or last year?).  That's an NFL rule.  It is not a rule in the CFL.  OL can be wherever the heck they want whenever they want post-snap, as long as they follow the blocking rules every REC/TE/FB/RB has to.

lol, nice job Dru. I'm out. This is an absolute embarrassment.

Vaval adjusting.  Nice to see.  Half of this is a brain issue.  He's using his brain (or he's being coached up to do so).

Still want to see a crossing LB blow up Philpot... Where's Loffler when you need him?

Well I guess the rules have changed then from when I played.

Alexander's hammy must have been iffy last game vs us.  His running & scrambling is soooo much better this time.  He's leaving all our pass-rushers in catch-up mode this game.
