Quote from: ModAdmin on September 22, 2026, 08:35:23 PMAll players on the injured list participated in a full practice today with the exception of ZC08 who did not practice.

If they were to put Zach on the 6 game, could they start the count last weekend, even though they didn't have a game?  If so they should change the name to the 6 week injury reserve.

Quote from: Throw Long Bannatyne on Today at 12:35:25 AM6 yard curls are not natural to Brown, that's how Condell thinks Brown has to play in order to succeed.  I remember a version that found his man and threw the ball downfield with ease and accuracy.

We've yet to give dru a go pass yet. So far it's all short and condell's favourite 20y zone sit.

I would think that this would be the week they open it up for dru. We ain't gonna win with just a d&d.

I doubt they can do anything retroactive. Also a player on the reserve can practice while on 6 game IR they cannot.

The real question is can he play this week or even this year? That's the 64K question.

If he is injured why would they not immediately plunk him on the 6 game like they've done everyone else?

The only time a bye counts towards the 6-game injured list is in the playoffs.

Back in the 1970s the CFL had a 3-game injured list. Although 3-game in name, it was actually 3 games or 21 days. There was incentive to put players on the injured list as soon as possible. In some cases players were available after 2 games.

If Zach doesn't start then it's the same old precaution junk I thought we had decided we were done with. We cannot possibly win the cup this year if Zach isn't going full bore every week building chemistry.

I'm still holding out hope he starts. Ya sure this might be the easier of the upcoming games, but still it's not one we can just trifle with. Not after what tor did last week!

I'm waiting to see if he practices today. That will probably tell us one way or the other.

I saw a video on Facebook showing a bunch of Bombers dancing and having a good time. It included O.Wilson who was not showing anything wrong with his hand / arm.

The catch is that it wasn't dated but usually these posts are live that day from practice. So we might see him back this week.

Immediately only means before the next game. An injured player is being assessed and may be able to play as the week goes on.

For sure it was this week. That's the Fort Garry field where they have been practicing all week due to the AC/DC concert. He did look pretty happy and moving well.

Good to know. We need him back in the starting role at receiver.

This game means a lot either way.  It will either showcase Zach and if he can remain healthy or if Brown can pull out an upset and go downtown like he used to.

Going to be a nice night for ball.  I will have plenty of extra snacks as buddy can't make it :(
