Bombers final 5 game prediction

Guessing 3 which puts us at 10-8 for the season. Tough west division this year means this MIGHT be a crossover number. I prefer the crossover myself, we should get by the Argos and Montreal is the one game we would need to play close to a perfect game. I am sure we will not come out flat like last year.  Can Montreal turn it on after coasting for an extended time? I just prefer that to a 2 game war vs BC/Sask/Edm and THEN Montreal anyway.

I think we are pretty much equal to Toronto and Calgary. 50-50 games, slightly above 50 with Collaros, slightly below with Brownn

1 - 3 wins.  I don't see 3 unless other teams starting qbs go down before we play them.

Versus Toronto - loss
Versus Montreal - loss
Versus Calgary - win if the weather is cold and or windy, lose if it is warm and there is little wind - Adams tends to do worse once it gets cold.

NOTE:  If the Bombers do lose 3 in a row, then they are just about done at this point as Calgary would likely have 8 wins to the Bombers 7 with Calgary having the tiebreaker.

Versus Edmonton - win if Edmonton has clinched first (pretty iffy now since they lost to Toronto today), lose if the game means something for Edmonton
Versus BC -  lose if this game means something in the standings for BC, win if it doesn't and Rourke and a bunch of starters don't play.

I was right about this game - a loss.  Poor discipline lies at the feet of our head coach.  Poor play calling (2nd and 4 late in the game, let's put the game in the hands of Dru) lies at the feet of Condell.

We really need to hope next week's game is another trap game for Montreal like our first game against them a few weeks ago.  Likely a loss though.

I was right about this game - a loss.  Poor discipline lies at the feet of our head coach.  Poor play calling (2nd and 4 late in the game, let's put the game in the hands of Dru) lies at the feet of Condell.

We really need to hope next week's game is another trap game for Montreal like our first game against them a few weeks ago.  Likely a loss though.

Really really disappointed in the undisciplined penalties we took, Lawson and fletcher especially. We are fighting for our playoff lives and you guys are pulling crap like that. I'd lose it in the dressing room if I was their teammate. Somebody has got to hold them accountable because MOS just loooves all his players, smart ones and dumb ones alike.

I don't about that, but I think the D is getting very demoralized. They were hung out to dry for yet another half. The O does nothing except a fluke 70y sneak all half. It's amazing they held up as much as they did and gave us at least 3 chances win.

Before someone says the d gave up 30 or whatever, I have news for you, the D is always at a disadvantage to an O. The O knows where the ball is going and has the initiative. The entire game is structured around this advantage. Otherwise the games would all have hockey scores.

CJOB post game talked about introducing variability or whatever. I think it's exactly what I've been saying about being bold. DT said it right, in that we used to be able to win just playing straight ball, because our talent level was so much higher. And it ain't anymore. So to win you have to go outside the Safe Plan book and be bold, try new things, pull some trick plays, throw for 45 when you need 5.

Anything other than the boring old samey plays on O, and praying your middling D can get enough stops.

The other teams are just too good now, and it won't work. Even Tor who clearly was going to win after their first TD of H2 decided to mix it up a bit with crazy deep shots and trick returns. The league 2nd best returner throwing it backwards to a nearly-nobody NAT? Surely no HC would ever authorize that! Well, a team who isn't just resting on their laurels does.

Beaten at home by a geriatric weenie holding a dumb CB radio he bought at a BJ and the Bear auction. Embarrassing. Culture? The culture is rotting from the head down.

The Argos only had the ball for just over 8 minutes in the 1st half. Our defence gave up 2 TD's on broken plays covering about 140 yards combined.

You don't win games doing that.  You also don't win games taking penalties on bone head roughing penalties.

Our offence and ST's didn't help, but the defence doesn't get a pass either.

We had 1 sack against a team that doesn't have a decent run game.

IF Zach starts that game, we win. That's why the it went from 1.5 favourites to 1.5 underdogs as soon as the change at QB happened.
