Anyone hear exactly what sort of injury he sustained? Even a minor injury probably keeps him out of the next game. The question is how long might we expect him to be unavailable.

You would have to know the injury to answer that question. You won't know that until they return to practice next on Monday.
Don't go through life looking in the rearview mirror.

That's the question and IR reports don't tell us much. I expect he'll be a " DNP " next week and listed with a hand injury. Transparency is not there.

That's what we saw with Kramdi and then found out he broke a thumb and required surgery.  He missed the full 6 games on IR.

Didn't know Kramdi got surgery, hope that doesn't cause future issues

I heard someone mention a hand but don't know where that came from.

He's on the 6 game injured list.

That means absolutely nothing this season, the 6-game is the clubs immediate response.

It was mentioned during the game. Aside from some arthritis when he's older it's probably not an issue.

Never thought of that, thanks for the info! Hopefully he can remain healthy long term! :)

Pokey smells like arm to me, but that's just a guess. I'll need to study the little film there is on those 2 plays.

He definitely played through bad pain, and maybe made it worse.

It will be 3 weeks between his last game and the next game. Whether that gave him time to recover is anybodies guess. As I suggested earlier I think he's listed as " DNP " and doesn't play in the next game.

Any sort of hand injury to a receiver usually means a longer recovery even if it's not a break like Kramdi. He won't be able to play with any sort of soft cast.

However I'm hoping that he only misses the next game and that we get some sort of injury explanation. That never seems to happen, so we'll be guessing week to week.

If you're correct that it's an arm issue that may be a worse outcome than the hand possibilities.

I don't think film is going to help deduce an arm smell unless you're going by the look on the faces of other players or officials who are catching a whiff of the arm smell. If you do find such an individual on film I'd love to see it. A Pokey that smells like arm doesn't sound that bad to me although I've never really noticed any sort of arm smell from anyone before. Maybe I'm just naive. Is it like an arm pit smell only milder because it's, y'know, more exposed to the fresh air, or is it like a Mick Foley, Mankind smell where the smell is intentionally cultivated to keep the DBs away from him before he jams the arm down their throats and makes them gag? Just wondering and I'd love to see some footage of that. Anyway, once again Tecno, you've managed to create in me a newfound respect for the prospect of the next "smells like arm" moment. Well done, sir!  ::)
