Bombers played a very solid game and need to carry that momentum into Regina. This is a big divisional game. Have to cleanup the penalties. Still a few to many breakdowns in the secondary. And, tackling has to be better. Just need to keep improving each week.

With Vaval playing double duty I would like to see us take an LB off the roster and add either Singer or Womack to the Roster.

Penalties are key
Clean up back end big plays and tackling
I would like the LBs to stay, showed great flexibility because of our depth last game
Our receivers are trending up, I am willing to wait to test the new guys late

Everything you said is on point

Keep the creativity on O, put pressure on Harris and continue the strong work at DL

Let Brady cook

Vaval is a non issue as he isn't getting that many reps, but would love a count 😉

No practice till Tuesday. I don't expect a few vet's to practice that day, but we can get a look at ND10, Kramdi, and if Griffin has started the running part of his rehab.

This is the week they pump up the stadium noise at PAS, a painful experience even with ear plugs.  Maybe a brave soul will give a report anyway.

Looks like only a 1 hour practice today and the only open practice of the week.

Texada and Dorian Singer receiving high praise at 3:20..

I feel we need a couple tweaks. Running with Vaval doing double duty if Singer or Wormak can return, they should see the roster, easy to do take off the lowest imp. LB Hazen I believe would be it, he may be knicked anyway. This also helps the receiver depth which is playing too thin both on talent and numbers. Keep Texada on the roster.

The tweak I don't know how to easily tweak is safety, Kelly has and is improving, but he is not there yet and may never be, we are in win now mode, not growing pains mode.

LD is a really tough game to win, can we win, maybe, likely not very. I have been extremely hard on the team this season which I usually am not. Last week we tried some different things and had some different guys get time, and it looked better. Can we keep "tweaking" to improve.....time will tell....

From Derek Taylor:

Day 1 of Bombers practice ahead of Regina:

No Brady Oliveira, Jonathan Moxey, Nic Demski, Redha Kramdi or Stanley Bryant today.

Dorian Singer working with the 1st team O in Demski's spot. Ordinarily that's been Kenneth Womack, so a bit of a change there.

LB Charles-Elliott Bouliane getting a little extra work today. Hasn't played since week 7 vs OTT

Nothing surprising really. Demski got nicked and doesn't practice much but still plays.

I was wondering if we might see Griffin begin to practice in week 4 and nothing is noted. Sounds like 6 games at least.

FS may be less important vs ssk. They will keep 95%b of the passes underneath. Most will be short, but a decent number of mid zone crossers. Maybe a few sits.

Just don't leave Kelly alone on a crosser where the guy is already at full run and turns it upfield.

And keep Kelly back deep. Ssks run game is total butt right now. Our front 7 can easily stop it.

I think ssk will pick on major in his new hb position, waiting for mistakes. Maybe vaval. And SAM.

Key on k Johnson and busby. Everyone else is pretty ignored right now. Ssk is very vulnerable and they know it. Bad Trevor may show up. Expect max d&d 90% of the time.

Conley ran for 80 yards against the Argos last week. I wouldn't rule out their ability to run or ours to be able to stop it quite so quickly.

Bombers need to play 60 minutes close to error free. That isn't something we've been able to do in recent history even in our victories.

Chances of a higher ranking may fall on this home and home series. We need a sweep IMO.
