Does the CFL need a de facto "full weight on the sack" rule? That sack by 2 SSK guys putting their full weight on Kelly seems like a poster child for us getting the NFL rule. Brutal hit. They could have done something other than grab & pancake with about 450 lbs of combined weight.

The full weight rule could help Zach too.

Funny how CFL claims to care about QB health but has less QB protection than NFL.

Anyone questioning keeping Castillo over Lidster needs to take a look at his record so far. It's total butt. He's actually losing games for TOR. It's a coin toss every kick, even closer ones.

Castillo kicks an extra yard back, I've noticed, and for shorter kicks he'll jack the trajectory. Lidster gets blocked because he's kicking too low, and he doesn't take that extra yard.

3Q2:50 SSK cheating again, Rose doing an obvious FM and eye-poke on Mital. Totally on purpose. I haven't seen that kind of away from the play purposefully hurtful FM since Duron Carter was in the league.

What total bags.

Where is the EITS? Clearly obvious non-accidental FM with intent to injure, and he walks away looking for the flag and doing the Duper's Delight that he got away with it.

He'll be looking at a fine this week.

4Q2:04 The TOR challenge of the Johnson ground-trap catch. If that's a catch, then so is Bailey's 2019 GC TD. Command has always called this with the question "did the ball move in the hands, and touch the turf". The ball 100% moved in both hands: the position changed in both, clearly obvious in replay. And clearly it touched the turf.

We saw a similar one earlier this year (and even one earlier in this game), though that one was harder to see. This one had great slow-mo.

So the new precedent, of course without any public memos, is almost anything is a catch. Hand bobbles, hands moving, who cares. Everything is a catch because Johnston wants MORE SHOW.

I'm now convinced that SSK has an entire office team working on cheating and skirting the rules. Finding every single little loophole they can use to win. And I'm very jealous because we just "play it straight". If SSK played it straight this game, they would have lost, because they aren't very good right now.

Do you think that offside on the FG try was just some player being coy, or an accident? No. It it researched, studied and then practiced, probably to death. How much head movement by the LS is allowed? How much bobbing up and down by the holder is allowed? What is the battery allowed to vocalize? They've studied it all. Then they have the entire line doing little twitches and movements, every little thing that is possible without getting detected. Every single snap-like motion by everyone that you can get away with.

And braindead opponents just lap it up and say "here ya go, take the game!". Not only is no other team studying the cheatin' like SSK is, but no other team is preparing their guys to not fall for it! Heck, I bet half of them aren't even aware of it. I'm not even sure ours are aware for it. Playing SSK is not "business as usual", it's a massive study session on not falling for all the cheating.

This is a team that wants to win it all, every time, every year. They are willing to do whatever it takes to win. They probably have a whole team of green autists working for free or pilsner or something just coming up with this crap. And it works. And I'm jealous because they're the only team to take advantage of this.

I'm going to blow a gasket if they get us offside (especially a game-winning one) or retaliation URs in either of the next 2 games. And it would be nice if Mafia would put as much time into the cheatin' as SSK does. But we all know they won't. And so SSK wins the close ones when maybe they weren't good, and we will lose all of them.
