Quote from: Sir Blue and Gold on Today at 04:38:26 AMCollaros is probably the 7th or 8th best starter in the league this year. That is bad by almost all definitions in a 9 team league.
The statement was generalized not presented as a commentary of his play this year, big difference.

Quote from: Tecno on Today at 04:39:49 AMYes, this one is on Zach.  And Nield and Pokey for screwing up do-able balls.  Notice how Luther (no-name rookie) produced when he was called upon at the end?  Ya, so Nield had to do exactly the same thing a drive earlier and whiffed.  We aren't the type of team that can recover from even one whiff on O.  Every single play has to get some sort of yards.

Agree but play calling and coaching decisions played a roll as well, adjustments were a big factor.

He's done. Was done. Is done. Time to retire.
plus 3rd highest paid QB. The Bombers are getting hosed now. Walters is stupid.
Season ticket holder since year 1 of the Reinbold era.

Going to all games until I die, even if we don't win another lol

Quote from: Blueforlife on Today at 04:35:02 AMPoster said Zach was a bad QB.  He is not.  The evidence was presented based on his record and cups.  Fake news.

Below average as of late.  At the end of his rope.

You have no content here just stiring the pot.

Below average quarterback for 3 years now...with a nearly 1:1 td/int ratio.  Facts!

Got taken to the woodshed by the much-maligned Cody Fajardo and backup Arbuckle in back-to-back Grey Cups.  Facts!

Has displayed below average arm strength for about the same amount of time (3 years).  Facts!

Quote from: Tecno on Today at 04:35:44 AMNo, I said at the time, well before the verdict, that we would lose.  Why did I know but MOS didn't?  We would win more games if MOS had me on hand to tell him when not to challenge.  I study this stuff and clearly understand it better than he does.  I called the other bad early challenge the other week too.

The league doesn't care that your QB is glass and can't take a tap onto his butt.  We might care.  But to no other QB is that "roughing" -- they'd just laugh at it.

You can study it all you want, if you think the refs call these things consistently, you're nuts.

It was a late hit and it would have put us on the 1 yard line. You throw that challenge every time.
My wife is amazing!

Tommy 2drops drop for what would have been a 2 yard gain anyways on 1st down has so many problems in it

Great we agree! Below average not bad.  Thanks for clearing that up lol.

I don't agree with getting better by deletion but in this case we would.

Can't think of a Pokey screw up tonight. Just Zach missing him when he was wide open.

I'll have to pay attention if other teams in this league throw to their wide outs for 13 yard gains automatically or if it's just a product of the Younger defence

I don't even know who plays wide out for Bombers

You throw that challenge early 10 out of 100 times at best

He adjusted wrong as well to that wide open deep shot but yes ball was bad for sure

Quote from: Jesse on Today at 04:39:22 AMIf anything, you're stirring the pot. We're discussing Zach right now and you're right, he's below average. He's in the bottom tier of starting QBs in the league.

He was great. I have his jersey. He's an all time Blue Bomber. He's just not that guy anymore.
It's sad but true, he is half the Qb he used to be, but the thing is, he's out best Qb by far, Brown couldn't carry his cleats to.the field. Zach played ok, he needed help from his receivers to make a play on the ball like edmontons receivers did, so much for 50/50 balls, our guys don't even contest them
