Looking back to play the ball has not factored into a PI call for years now.  It happens almost every incompletion - the D never looks back to make a play anymore and it is NEVER called just based on that.

It wasnt PI..that's why.  I thought it was initially as a reflex but on the replay it was not.

Good DBs do fake looking back -- just turn their heads without actually tracking the ball.  And it does influence when the refs call DPI.  If Kelly turns to look that'll likely not be DPI.
