I don't know what the hub bub about Singer is all about, we don't need help at reciever, we need help in our secondary!! Receivers are just fine the way they are, and we aren't pulling White or Wilson out for Singer, so that ends that.

Last game against the worst DBs in the league: Cobb with 0 or 1 catch for negligible yards, Nield with 1 catch for negligible yards, Corcoran zilch.  I won't pick on Pokey as he's usually quite good and clearly is not getting benched, but he too was 0 for 5 including a disgusting whiff for a much-needed TD.

Gotta hand it to White, he single-handedly made up for all those other bad RECs.

Bailey & Woli (4th & 5th) used to make catches.  Kept D's honest.  I don't think you can win in the CFL with guys who are getting 0, unless maybe you have Alexander as your QB.  Look at '25 GC champs: they spread the ball around to everyone that season.

You can't compare Zach to Alexander, there's a world of difference that has little to do with the receivers.

The problem is kind of everything. Receivers aren't getting open in space, they're not blocking each other open, Zach has little time to get the ball out and holds it too long when he does, or throws the ball too short, all of this is also a failure of scheme to minimize the flaws.

So as much as it's not just the receivers, we can't absolve them either.

Yes there are more than one problem. I still don't understand adding Hazen when the ratio would have allowed another import receiver. Coaches roster choices have always been a bit of what the heck is he doing.

Hazen may become a good player IDK. My point is that I'm not even sure he was on the field even on ST's. If that is the case the choice has to be questioned. At least another DL would see some reps. Ditto for another receiver.

So that will be the question again this week. Who is the extra import. If we aren't adding another receiver, I'd like to see Jaworski added since Jenkins seems to be the odd man out on the PR.

Texada as another DB wouldn't hurt either.  So there you go. # choices that seem to make more sense than Hazen at the moment.
