Singer will come on late season to give him a look.  I'm ok with that.

This constant whining for Singer disregards the deeper plans they made for the offence before the season even began.

#1  They wanted to move to 3 imports on the O-line after they found Elsbury who is still quite young and big enough to handle all his business plus more, he potentially could become a fixture on the O-line for many years.

#2  They wanted to employ a real TE in place of a 6th O-lineman as many other teams are now doing, which is the reason they drafted Daniels a Natl, if he was an Import switching him out with Singer occasionally would make more sense.  Like Gatkouth, Daniels is given more reps. than he's probably deserves due to his status as a 1st round draft pick, don't have a rep. count but I would estimate he's taking 50% of the reps over Cobb and MCI.

So are they just stubbornly refusing to adjust the ratio that has had to be shifted several times already, or are some players - like Singer - just not showing what they need to do to crack the line-up?

I don't know. It feels like there are so many things wrong with our offence that adding some rando receiver isn't going to change anything anyways. But just doing the same thing over and over isn't exactly inspiring either.

If Singer is not good enough, then they should at least be looking for a new candidate on the PR.  We do have Womack but I think he's the KR back up for Vaval. While he's a receiver, he may not be the best of the 2. We don't really know.

Teams play PR players at the end of the season for a look see. It's a small sample played against other rookies that are playing in an unimportant game, much like a pre season contest.

We didn't retain a PR receiver from 2025, so it's almost a pointless exercise. I think Jenkins is the only PR holdover from 2025 left on the PR or on the roster anywhere.

Again, if he's not good enough, then find new candidates.

See a lot of people questioning why they dumped Wheatfall in on-line discussions, short answer unlike Singer he would not likely accept a PR demotion which is a necessity with only 2 import receivers. Singer is backup to Wilson and White, when one of them is injured he will be given his opportunity to perform, but not likely before.

Disagree the club assess all players based on practice and games and will determine if he fits now and in the future.  These PR guys always find it hard to stick around and get playing time.  Singer has potential and we will see what he can do when he gets reps.  I don't see us playing any unimportant games but yes late season other clubs might.  Still pro regular season game, nothing like preseason imo.  Not pointless imo.  Each year different, each years talent different.

Yes the club will evaluate Singer vs. what in the pipeline for next year.  A dog fight for him and I wish him luck.

JAWORSKI, Matt also was brought back, who I like.

Singer was praised early but what have folks seen of him as the season has progressed? Curious on practice reports but I doubt getting too many reps.

I think PR guys should have names on a jacket or something to wear on game days and they do come out for warm up and are on the sidelines.  Helps to get to know the next gen, name to face.  I arrive an hour early and really enjoy field side view of warmup.  We sneak down to the corner and its a nice change from birds eye view of upper deck centre.  See others doing this on occasion.

Also enjoy walking by the alumni to see who is around.  Again wish they had names on them so I knew who is who but sometimes they have something on the table I think with a name?

They do list who is there with a sign.  I know some of the faces.

I don't mind rolling with 3 NAT WR's but then we need to prioritize drafting WR's.
Having Demski has been awesome, but what if he gets hurt. Do we roll with Cobb-Clercius-Nield? It just leaves us so thin.
There are draft years with nothing good at WR but if there's another year like 2022 (Philpots and Emilus), we need to make a trade or something to move up and get a position of need.

The Philpots and Emulus were drafted in 2022 and are now playing in their 5th seasons, I can't recall the last Cdn. receiver the Bombers gave that much time to develop.  If Clercius can't make more of a splash I don't think he will be back next year.

Womack might have something to say about Singer getting an AR spot. Womack has looked very at practice the last 2-3 weeks.
Don't go through life looking in the rearview mirror.

It's clear mafia had decided on the ol and rec ratio in PS. May have even been decided in FA.

We all know that mafia is very inflexible on the ratio unless forced into a corner.

They'll be thinking its not just about catches, but blocking. As such they'll want to keep the expected season-finishers on the field.

Thus we can all wish and hope we get singer over a nat, but it's not likely barring injury. And even then the "other C" will get the spot first!
Never go full Johnston!

I don't know what the hub bub about Singer is all about, we don't need help at reciever, we need help in our secondary!! Receivers are just fine the way they are, and we aren't pulling White or Wilson out for Singer, so that ends that.
