What does bob dyce know about being an offensive coordinator?? He was a special teams coach before becoming a head coach and he s never had a winning record. Pass on this idea

Bob Dyce was an OC and HC in the league, and spent 6 years here as recievers coach in the aughts.  When he got fired in OTT last year for the teams bad performance, we hired his OC.

Would bringing Dyce back to Winnipeg have been a better idea?  I know Condell has history with Zach, and I'd bet that was 99% of the decision, but looking past ZC8's career, would Dyce have been a better long term fit?

Dyce was hired as an OC once: 2012 with the Riders.

Condell's been an OC for a decade combined (2013-15 with the Ti-Cats, 2018 with the Argos, 2019-23 with the Ti-Cats, 2024-25 with the RedBlacks), and is now is his 11th season in that capacity.

There isn't really a comparison between the two when it comes to experience in the OC role.

And by the logic* you applied with the Bombers hiring Dyce's OC, why would anyone want Dyce as a coach, much less an OC?

Agree, he was an OC for one year in 2012. Which was a riders team that was 8-10. I also think MM has done an amazing job with our STs.

He was a position coach on offence for most of his career.

Most OC's "apprentice" as a position coach.

Yes, he has had success as a STC.

I don't know if he would be a great OC, but he seems to be a good coach in general.

And I have no idea if he plays poker.

Two coordinators would be crap to play for.
Cordell may have been a potential guy. But what have we established?  Two lousy Canadian receivers. Their max catch per game ..may be one.
Two average. But good Americans.  And the tall guy.....maybe he will be a tackle  next year. He is no asset.

So any QB has potentially the two Americans and Demski to throw to. , but that's a third read, amd Stan can't block.,was great, now he's a great grandfather.

The back ups are nit able to read defences, evidently.  A QB sneak is more like 50-50. We have lots of problems. We will not win another game this year. Our best chance is Ottawa. But just the odds are in their favour.  Zac will get hammered again. Ekgersma. Or whatever his name is .......tall, amd he throws a mean I yard pass. Whoever the other guy is, is probably the best. brown is out.

What is Walter's doing? I don't care about the salary cap.  A first round choice either goes to
the Stars, or is a bust. If that the penalty for bringing in budget breaking guys, so what.

Stan is done, Neuf probably as well. And the can't find a defensive tackle.  The Defemsivemcoordinator  is a deer in the headlight. Let's look at how he wears that baseball cap?

Qb sneak is likely around 90% but I couldn't find the #s
Younger looks good in his hat, what does that have to do with anything?
Our best QB is Zach, Taylor will be ok with seasoning and has an incredible arm, Perkins we have no idea but he certainly isn't the best
Brown when healthy is a decent backup but certainly struggled recently

Yeah we have 3 imports as back up linebackers, rather than adding a wr or a db.
  Cobb and Kelly are two that shouldnt be starting. Once again showing the poor roster mgmt thats hurt us in the past
I realize that the depth chart isnt a good reflection of actual playing time but on this case it looks like the starters will get significant reps

They aren't helping either. Some are older and at the end of their careers. Others like Kelly and Smith shouldn't necessarily be starting.

Cobb? A place holder. Neild not living up to expectations.
