Home field advantage hasn't been a thing for a while now. A strong start would help a ton, IMO.

I wouldn't mind Houston being back I havent been impressed with moxey and Nichols this year

He is as good as Nichols and Moxey, but I don't think he is better. He use to be very good, but he just not the player he was in 2023/24.

If ZC8 starts, then I would hope there is a short leash. 

If he has any issues, he needs to come out.  Tweaks anything, out.  If we get up 3 scores, out.

I know getting ZC8 off the field if all of his limbs are mostly attached it tough.  But for his own sake, and any hopes of playoffs, he needs to be healthy, and MOS/Condell cannot take chances.

He is as good as Nichols and Moxey, but I don't think he is better. He use to be very good, but he just not the player he was in 2023/24.

Houston was OK, he's a year older now.  We moved on for a reason.  Someone will pick him up, though, as injury insurance.

Now, if OTT released Dino Boyd... I'd even be open to a trade... neg list player or PR guy, maybe even a later DP.

Zach is the absolute worst qb from a 6gir perspective. We'll never get the sms savings on him. The nature of his issues is such that it's 1 to 4 weeks out every time. Because it's all feelz and no science. Not that you can have science for this, and I don't blame Zach.

But the fact remains it still sucks. Normal qbs might go on 6gir once, but Zach will be out for 1 to 4 games 2 to 3 times a season. Both may miss 6 in the end, but because Zach's will never be contiguous, it never gives us relief.

In a sense, the league is punishing being extra cautious on qb brain hits. I think if we ever want to go anywhere this season, Zach and mafia need to just throw caution to the wind, like Trevor did for ssk last season. But of course, that won't happen.

Listening to all 3 pressers, I don't get a warm fuzzy feeling that these coaches have figured anything out. A bunch of mumbo jumbo, blah blah blah. Condell speaking of a cigar and scotch after a measily 19 point outing...are you freaking kidding me?!?!

Maybe it should be Walters deciding when Zach returns to play and not leave it up to him to decide when he feels like playing again.  The economic benefit of sitting out the full 6 games is significant and if he can't provide the winning spark consistently any longer, he loses the right to pretend he owns the team.

Well, the most recent season was 4 games total, over 2 periods. Though I guess suspension isn't sms shielded. And I bet you weren't including games he exited early.

Something wrong with your 22 to 24 numbers. Maybe you aren't taking into account all the games he exited early? If he leaves at halftime, that should count as a game not played from an availability standpoint. Ya, no sms savings on those games either. Which actually further proves my point.

Also add any games we may have dressed him to reach 3 qbs, but knew he wasn't gonna play.
